I'm trying to choose between fighting and game development. I have to chose one because whichever I pick, I want to the best at it. So I have to dedicate all of my time to it.

I feel like i'm experiencing this exact situation and am paralyzed by indecisons and fear which is making me stuck. In my mind I feel like i'm doing my best to move forward and I feel capable but I always question my path. I know my potential and I just know if I could move forward with more certainty that I could apply myself completely into one direction and make progress. Thank you for making this video, it's very helpful to help make my decision.

Glad to hear that! One thing I'd say is that once we're okay to accept the fact we might make a mistake, a wrong decision, then it's easier to move forward. With every decision leading to a host of new options, it's never a dead end. Wishing you all the best!

After I have a hard time choosing and trying multiple jobs in one year, I have come up with the exact same method to make decision as this video.
I can say that, by just watching this video could help you save one year of your life.

Can anyone summarize the video in bullet points?
The video is really long and even with the pointers in video she is going from business to job job to business and basically beating around bush. There is no visual time stamps or breaks in between the sentences she speaks making it very hard to focus.

    Thoughtful video ! Superb ✅
Is it better to find a better paying job from the start of our career or get a decent job first & get experienced of 1 or 2 years then charge more..negotiate ? Does promotions happen often in small or medium scale companies or is it wise to find a large scale company.. If money is the goal what should be the roadmap in succeeding as construction engineer in service based sector..

I think that at the start of one's career, speed and repetition is more important than finding something perfect (in terms of salary, etc.). By that I mean quickly starting a job and then pivoting if you find something better. Some people wait too long after graduation to find the perfect job and lose precious time in the process. It's difficult to generalize. Although I'd say there are more opportunities in large companies (for a promotion and salary raise), there are smaller or mid-sized companies that provide that as well. One way to find out is to read glassdoor reviews of people working there, and second, get a feel of the opportunities during the interview. Ask what the possible career path at that company is and what pay range that may lead to. That can give you a good idea of your options later on. I'm not familiar with engineering, but I'd say in general, in any sector, make it a point to review where you are in your career at least every 6 months. Assess what you want, what your options are, and pivot from there. Hope that helps!
