    Thank you for sharing this. I was prepared to spend a substantial amount to have a unit installed. Very simple and I think i'll just do it myself.

    how do I connect my dual dvd headrests to double din, so if I choose to play dvd in double din, it'll also play in rear headrest for my 08 Avalanche

    What size T-tap connecters for harness wires?

      The correct size comes with the kit.

      Thanks for replying. I had an entire kit of my own aside from the T-taps. 22-18awg (Red) taps were required. However, when testing power I see that barely 4v (3.9) show on the meter when key is turned. I found that on drvrs side MBEC has IGN/ACC/GND pins in place (unused) when testing those they provide a full 12v (11.6v) does the difference in voltage have any effect? Tapping as demonstrated in your video only gives 1/3 of power. I have no idea how amps/volts convert and was curious if the difference would matter with headrest performance. Granted both work identical when key is turned. Let me know what you think..Thanks

    Is the power and ground connected to constant or accessory power? And can I use that same connection in the side panel of my 08 Escalade?

    I hooked mines up this way but I see fuzzy white lines on the screen only when the engine is on??
