Hobbyking Excalibur Unboxing and Maiden Flight (+Crash)

This was my first glider and probably a little too soon as this was my third week flying planes. Was definitely a great build and probably one of my most favorite planes at the moment.

I just bought the V2 here in May 2023
I saw where you put the RX, I was wondering how to put it in.
Don't worry about the crash, they happen all the time even with the best of flyers!
It is just part of the sport and you will fing the "hot glue gun" that runs off your lipo batt will be your best friend in the field lol

hi there, I just bought an Excalibur, too hot here to fly it,,,,have been doing RC quite a while,
do have some recommendations for you ,,,constructive criticism as they say.
that plane too advanced for a beginner , if I tried that after three weeks would have crashed too
recommend something like multiplex easy glider pro,,,,(very nice glider)
first flight conditions should be optimal , white clouds white plane , better if clear day
fly at moderate speeds and keep it close until you fell very comfortable with whatever plane it is
,,, another item I have found helpful is an RC simulator on the computer , if fact there are some
like multiplex has a free one where you can fly your particular model,,and yes it feels like you are
flying your model . Keep flying

Yeah the Excalibur is definitely for intermediate level as it is 150kph approx out of the box. Get plenty of simulator time first and start with a higher wing plane like the tundra or similar trainer. When you feel ready reduce your rates to 60/40 expo for low rates then up from there to high rates. Good look with it. I love flying planes 👍🏾😀

What a pity , too much of a Glider for only three weeks experience, you should better enjoy
flying Step by Step , you did well though .
