Jmb PC21 XXL RC Plane Maiden Flight and Certification

It was the maiden of my dream plane the 3.4m PC21 by Jmb with the Kingtech K100TP G4+
It was probably the most nervous I have been to fly a new jet other than the F86 Sabre but after a few deep breaths to control my shaking thumbs I completed the 3 certification flights and began to get comfortable and grease the landings.
Very proud of myself to get this done and can’t wait for the next event.

Mate - that was beautiful to watch. A long time fan of Pilatus - you have a stunning craft and equally well flown. That landing, no over-correction on elevator, just a buttery "greaser" - very good control. Thanks for sharing and cheers - Dave

Well, gald I got to see this fly. One of my friends built the same plane and it flew a whole 3 minutes and 28 seconds. Wing stalled it and it hit the ground so fast it was crazy!! Still have the mangled turbine on the shelf.

In Australia, to allow you to fly and be insured plane Hass to be certified when above 25 KG and pre-inspected
