Sandy - if the turbo is NOT siezed and IS spinning - have a look at the INLET MANIFOLD - they run a EGR cooler inside them and they block up really easy - judging from the lack of maintance & fault it might be that !!
Sandy with the new Audis and VWs you need VCDS for diagnostic purposes . It is not so expensive and it is totally worth it . Launch is pretty bad for newer ones .
Iv got a seat Toledo same engine at the Audi it’s had a new turbo charger and the actuator has been tested by the turbo shop. Still have the same under boost issue. Maf and Map sensor both been replaced. Any suggestions sandy ?
@@greensidecars5125 Check the INLET MANIFOLD is not clogged up with soot carbon they run a cooler in the manifold it takes nothing for them to block - its a fiddle to take them off (nuts underneath holding it on) but might be problem
Also i start the car without fill up the filter with oil for turbo when i changed the egr valve and this is the issue because you can't remove the egr without taking off tur and retur oil pipe for the turbo.
@@sandyande Hi I have an a3 1.6 TDI cxxb 110 bhp seams to be low on boost but have no fault codes car some times go in limp mode at 60mph at 1400 rpm when going up an incline and will drop speed this is intamitent only happens when warm car picks up speed but seam to lack lower down in the rev range before car would pull well with little throttle but now it seams you have to use full or most of the throttle

Cheers my friend I was thinking about getting it just to save time of VAG! Hope your well, Sandy
once the turbo was changed, did you adapt the new turbo with the diagnostic case?
THANKS
OH - just relized that this was a 4 year old post !!!! - Did you get to the bottom of it ???
im looking forward to the fix
Fortunately I won't be there for the fix Nuffz, it looks horrendous? Cheers sandy

Have u smoke tested inlet manifold for leaks? Dpf clear?
Dpf was cleaned when turbo was reconditioned

Mate that turbo should be spinning even at tickover
I know but I just had to make sure! Thanks for watching cheers sandy
How much did this cost to fix? I think I have the same problem. Same car same issues, and same code also hasn't been well maintained with services
Hi no idea I just show up to film the interesting ones! Cheers sandy
Did you figure out the issue? as I have the same
New turbocharger fitted as old one was turning slowly/seizing
Hi, what was the problem? 😁 Thanks
Seized turbo
I think i got the same issue because the turbo eat oil, loss of power, and same error
Also i start the car without fill up the filter with oil for turbo when i changed the egr valve and this is the issue because you can't remove the egr without taking off tur and retur oil pipe for the turbo.
Did you ever solve this Sandy? I have the same issue on my car
Yes it needs a new turbo due to lack of maintenance! Cheers sandy

What is your boost pressure at 2k rpm
