Most of these screens in Audi have auto dimming functionality - sensor is always evaluating how much light exposure is present and auto adjusting your screen.
Usually you can disable the auto dimming with Vagcom or dealership should assist with you as well.
My current problem is when I turn the car on, the screen pops up, nothing shows on the screen and then after a few seconds, it closes. The radio doesn’t work, can’t access anything through the screen. Buttons on the center console don’t light up either. Any help would be great
I have the same problem , if someone can help us with some information …

I called yesterday a audi garage im bringing the car to them tommorow i keep you updated what was wrong with my car
I’m interested to find out what the issue is.
Sounds like isn’t fuse issue since you checked that. It’s quite hard to figure out what the issue could be.
If you have done any electrical replacements in the car recently like battery change or module change. Usually requires dealer reprogramming.
Please let me know what you find out. Hope it’s quick resolution.
I didnt do a a change to the modul or battery the only thing i did i changed the trimm in the middel from alu to carbonfiber 4 month ago but until now it worked fine from one moment to the other after 4 month it stopt working
Here because my 09 A4 mmi and radio and center control stack lights don't work :(

Definitely need to improve my recording and just being on camera.
My screen, center console buttons and radio are all out of wack. 🫠 sometimes the screen will turn on for a few seconds, then it will shut off and not turn back on.
When it turns on or off, does the amount of lighting that comes through your car change? For example it’s sunny vs. afternoon when it’s darker outside.
@@homeoftheobsessed1168 🤔 I didn’t pay attention to that. I’ll have to check it out and see. I checked both driver and passenger side fuse boxes and everything checked out good as fuses go. Never checked the stuff in the trunk though.

@@homeoftheobsessed1168 hello, hope everything is well. My MMI is completely out now. The screen does not turn on at all anymore. The speakers and red lights by the gear shift are all still out.
