If you know you're dying, at least be considerate of your depression-ridden friend who's trying his best to open up to you, let alone hit him all the time LOL. I've made this too long and I'll cut to the chase. Kaori is selfish and inconsiderate of Kosei, Tsubaki, and Watari's emotions. She literally played all of them three. If you justify her emotional manipulation just because she's dying, you're dead wrong. You don't have the right to do that to anyone regardless of your mental, physical, or maybe medical trauma. I don't hate Kaori, in fact I love her as a pianist myself, but as a person, she was selfish and annoyingly inconsiderate.
Perhaps you're thinking of Mariage d'Amour, which, suprisingly, is often mistakenly attributed as a piece of Chopin. Also, fun fact, the reason for the "adieu" is because this piece is (at least thought to be) dedicated to Chopin's wife-to-be, but Chopin's health made that not possible, and he ended up not seeing her again.
