      Even for the best players in the world it’s a low percentage shot. Why choose to waste a play on a shot that’s unlikely to go in when there are other looks? There’s a reason why Kareem’s sky hook and Jordan and dirk’s fadeaways stand out above any other. Nobody else could get it to work like that. Seems silly to cite the one of the greatest ever had success with it so it must be good.

    I think a fade away really depends on your shooting touch.
    It would problably work best with people like Carmelo Anthony who has a very smooth jumper.
    And if you're a bit undersized too, since you might have trouble if you don't make seperation if you're a bit shorter.

    What this ranking actually does is say that moves that depend on the defense completly giving you one side and/or sleeping are better than moves needed against a reactive defense. Got to agree that passing should be option 1 tho

    • @jaketerpening3284
      @jaketerpening3284 Год назад +2

      I absolutely disagree with passing being number one. The post is one of the best places to get high percentage looks. Passing should only be used once you have drawn a double team, not as your first look. If you aren't a threat to score in the post, then you won't get good openings on your passes.
