I usually don't post comments but I feel like this needs to be put out there. Delta is such a great coach and a great person. There was a part when she had to choose and she said she was going with the person she thinks needs her the most at that moment. She knew she can make a difference in Daniel's life. She helped him not just in music but as a person as well. And their duet at the end just speaks volume to the journey that both of them had. The song was lighthearted but it was emotional on so many levels. Especially when it was shown that Daniel did not win in the end. Even so, Daniel came out a totally different person. He smiles more often and carries himself with confidence. That, for me, is a win. Kudos to both Daniel and Delta.

He was literally referring to that people on the street aren't as intrigued by guitarists on the street as they are to a piano player on the street, which i can confirm
While it was painful to witness George misunderstand where this kid was coming from and storm away with his misconception, it is, in the same instance, a reminder to all of us to check our own misconceptions at any given time . . . Kudos to Delta for smoothing the way for everyone and to George for rethinking his understanding and speaking it out. We are always evolving in this gig . . .
'Let it be' was so touching all round!! Hope that performance gets replayed! The singers, the piano, the harmonies, everything came together brought everyone to tears.
was seriously disturbed by George's initial reaction but anyway as i continued watching im just in awe at how much daniel has improved 😭 he gained so much more confidence and looks genuinely happy :') so proud of him
George figured out he wasn't trying to be rude. George took it as, "no one cares about guitars so shut up" but he meant, "I love guitar, but no one wants to hear it." George was embarrassed after he figured out what he meant.
Being on the street so much I would have thought the kid might have learned a few things. But I would be wrong thinking that I guess. When Boy opens a door for him--- why not open it a bit more and hop on through. 'Guitar? Well... yes, maybe....ah...... next time???!' Seemed like a SNIVELING and stupid response, to me. I did not like this performer, personally. Just because of his snotty reaction. Had it been me, ' you want me to do while standing on my head!!? SURE! I can do that!!! ' You have to RECOGNIZE your OPPORTUNITIES whenever/where ever they occur!! And make the MOST of them when they occur!!!
Perfect example of don’t judge a book by its cover. George perceived the message in a particular way because he didn’t know the background of him being a street performer, knowing that information changes the context of his comment. Don’t judge people.
@@watchit6072 they mean because he sings with emotion, people can relate to it. His songs make people feel like they're understood and when people feel comforted in that way, it might bring back memories or tears of joy.

I dont understand why people are saying that Daniel was being disrespectful. Like no he wasn't being disrespectful he was just saying that people didnt really care if he played guitar. He plays on the streets and I'm guessing people just didnt pay attention to him playing guitar rather than playing the piano. I also understand that people make mistakes and that sometimes misunderstand something but that reaction was just so melodramatic from boy George, like he could've asked Daniel a follow up question like " and why do you think that?"
@@patrickperry8951 No he wasn't. You definitely are a fan of George because I've seen you reply to every single person who said he was in the wrong. Which he was. The kid wasn't being cocky. If he plays guitar and nobody pays attention to him. Compared to him playing piano and getting lots of attention and praise for his skill in the piano rather than his skill on the guitar. Then what does that mean if you look at it from a logical standpoint?! NOBODY CARES THAT HE PLAYS GUITAR. He also didn't know that George cared if he played guitar or not. And even up to that point. It nobody cared before and he asks if he played. Then that's exactly how he should've responded. Because up until then he probably got no praise for it or questions about it. He wasn't being cocky. He was actually being insecure or else he wouldn't have insulted himself by saying that nobody cared about his guitar skills that he spent so long to develop. This comment section is full of idiots I stg. Go do something more productive with your life like idk.... have one 🤷🏻♂️
I think what he meant by "No one cares" is that no one cares what instruments he plays because either way he's invisible to everyone that walks by and hears him.
@@anonoumos basically. It seems that boy George didn't hear / understand what he said correctly. Boy asked "can you play guitar?" the guy replied "yeas I can, but no one really cares" which most people took as, people do t really care if he plays guitar or not. They either like him / see him, or ignore him / just walk past. Boy seemed to have taken this the wrong way though, thinking the guy said / meant, nobody cares about playing the guitar, while again, the guys more talking about his own personal experience playing it.

Kudos to Delta for smoothing the way for everyone and to George for rethinking his understanding and speaking it out. We are always evolving in this gig . . .
yeah my boyfriend and i got hella mad but for me, watching george kind of self reflect so quickly made me feel sooooooooooooooo much better lol
Eloquently put.
'Let it be' was so touching all round!! Hope that performance gets replayed! The singers, the piano, the harmonies, everything came together brought everyone to tears.
This man is really talented. He deserves to become a singer
I'm so happy that delta was his coach, She's the perfect coach for him.
was seriously disturbed by George's initial reaction but anyway as i continued watching im just in awe at how much daniel has improved 😭 he gained so much more confidence and looks genuinely happy :') so proud of him
His version of Addicted To Love is probably one of the best covers I've ever listened to. And losing to Diana Rouvas is an honor.
I think George took it the wrong way. I don't think the kid was being rude.
George figured out he wasn't trying to be rude. George took it as, "no one cares about guitars so shut up" but he meant, "I love guitar, but no one wants to hear it." George was embarrassed after he figured out what he meant.
No I think he was just nervous and it got taken the wrong way
thats just how stuck up he is....
he has been taking it the wrong way along time ago..
Being on the street so much I would have thought the kid might have learned a few things. But I would be wrong thinking that I guess. When Boy opens a door for him--- why not open it a bit more and hop on through.
'Guitar? Well... yes, maybe....ah...... next time???!'
Seemed like a SNIVELING and stupid response, to me. I did not like this performer, personally. Just because of his snotty reaction.
Had it been me, ' you want me to do while standing on my head!!? SURE! I can do that!!! '
You have to RECOGNIZE your OPPORTUNITIES whenever/where ever they occur!! And make the MOST of them when they occur!!!
Delta did a marvelous job. She was a truly great coach
idk if it’s just me but..
his voice just makes me wanna cry everytime he sing.
margareth i felt the same way
I’m so in love with Delta. What a great personality she has. People really grow under her wings. Fantastic coach.
i wanna listen him singing "let her go" by passenger.
mizanur rahman yesss
When I heard him I was like 'passenger '
mizanur rahman ruclips.net/video/0HuRpD57tJU/видео.html i found it online its not great quality but its still very good
Me toooo!!
Mee too like wos
Perfect example of don’t judge a book by its cover. George perceived the message in a particular way because he didn’t know the background of him being a street performer, knowing that information changes the context of his comment. Don’t judge people.
His voice is so soothing, relaxing and can go deep in your soul... something that can make ur tears drop... love it...
Wtf ... Soothing tears relax your ass
@@watchit6072 they mean because he sings with emotion, people can relate to it. His songs make people feel like they're understood and when people feel comforted in that way, it might bring back memories or tears of joy.
Unbelievable! He has gotten better and better with every song! Usually I like the raw first performances the most. But with him - astonishing journey! Delta did an amazing coaching job. „Your power is connection.“ It doesn’t sound big - but that’s what being a singer, an artist, is being about. I really hope he does have a thriving career with his amazing talent and the honest and open rawness in his singing. Really, really touching. Wishing you the very best! And the duet with Delta - amazing! And he didn’t win 🥺
18 June 2021, let’s see who still listening to this masterpiece.
Fuck u got me

Daniel Shaw better be making the big bucks now. He needs an album and a record deal 👍👍
Over 15 million views and I’m not embarrassed to say that a million of that is from me. Lol. this dude has such authenticity and genuineness in his music. I been a fan since my 1st view.
Really???
If he was so great he would have gone farther!
And to be really honest, what has he done since??? Anything????
No???
No!!!!
Gee, that's a surprise!!!
Guess that tells you/us something.
He ain't so great! After all!!!!
He just isn't any kind of 'star'.
For $100 and you could get him for 2 hours at your next birthday party!
Some 'star'!
That's not how views work 🤦
People honestly took what I said literally? I can’t even imagine how long that would take, good chance I’d be sick of watching him and his voice. Lol
@@paulortiz2035 Haha, someone is mad huh? Did your dreams shatter and now you're trying to defame other's you know of being better than you.
Inferiority complexes. Nothing else.

Daniel played the best version of that Robert Palmer song and I feel like he is just a genuine🌟 bravo bravo Daniel! 👏👏👏
Hello pretty face I know it like a dream to you to get a message from me
I dont understand why people are saying that Daniel was being disrespectful.
Boy George told him he cared, but got no reaction from him. Guess George took it that he didn't care what he thought.
A follow up question would've been better. True.
So true that man is uncool
Yes he was asshole. He was being cocky.
I think what he meant by "No one cares" is that no one cares what instruments he plays because either way he's invisible to everyone that walks by and hears him.
your sentence doesnt make sense. can u explain it
@@anonoumos basically.
Sane
*SAMEE
I thought he meant he tried playing it in public and he didn't get the same response with the guitar as he did with the piano.
Every song he sang makes me think that his own song.
"Let It Be" performance was very nicely done. 👍🏼
Still remember the times i watched him performing in a street in Melbourne city, it's perfect...
Alven Chan lies
Daniel is magical....enjoyed all his performances... what a way to end his journey in the Voice - Australia eventho he didn't win... that duet with Delta was freaking amazing!!!!!!
Yes even better than the original verve, its one of my fav song now 😊 I play it daily.
Love his voice and Delta damn that girl can sing and what an excellent coach .
Daniel should've won this one. He sings from the heart. He sing songs with all his heart. He's an amazing artist. Hope he became a huge name in the music industry.
👍 yes he is s real singer
His rendition of "Addicted to Love" was dope! I never though that song could sound better than the original. Wow.
I felt it
Yes!!! I like his version sooo much better ❤
After hearing "Someone you loved" many times on the radio, Daniel's performance made me cry for the first time to the song.....
Guy is right absolutely. Daniel voice relaxes me when I'm listening to him singing.
Love how his parents are singing along to his original 🥺❤️
Love the way how supportive his parents are. They even know the lyrics of his song and singging along with him is just lovely to watch 😍
“it doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be real” same goes with people.
I love his ability to take an upbeat song, put it on piano, and then make you feel it. Not just sing along to a catchy tune, but to really feel those lyrics. Wow.
