Love the reaction guys!! Always nice to see positive Star Wars fans :) Tell me I’m not the only one who when I saw Neel was like “imma go to war to protect this kid”
Do you know what after watching it and having some time to think about it, I think you’re absolutely right. Just a wide eyed young boy who wants adventure in his life.
@SithList it's more to do with the old republic credits being made out of a rare metal , much like the gold standard, so ofc there new republic is like modern money, not really tied to anything of value making it much less valuable. So his basically go the equivalent of a gold debloon, that's why they freaking out.
I thought the same thing! Brought me back to my childhood hearing those speeder bikes. Also, if you listen to the birds and the forest the same noises.
Heya guys! Isn't this just adorable? I mean it sounds weird referring to SW as adorable but it's just a feel good, nostalgia-laden show that hopefully won't evoke anything but joy from the Fandom. Great reaction as always!

@Thesithlist, 28:05 Keep in mind that this story takes place 5 years after return of the Jedi, so 28 years after Order 66. Jod Na Nawood, is likely the same age as or pretty close to Jude Law's actual age, which is 51 years old. If true, Jod would have been 23 years old when the Jedi fell and Empire came to be. Jod is old enough to have been picked up by the Jedi and raised in the temple. He's also old enough to have been a Jedi Knight, maybe even a master, but he's not giving master vibes to me. Did you pay attention to his words when his crew brought the Republic ship's captain to him--"You lost your ship. Don't lose your life." Jod didn't take part in the fighting, and he hasn't killed anyone. This episode went so far as to play the Force theme when he used the Force. Every time we've ever heard that theme in Star Wars is when a JEDI uses the Force. That theme has never been used for Sith or Dark Side users. I would be shocked if this series revealed Jod to be anything other than a Jedi. Everything we've seen up to this point has played as most expected things to play out. This being billed a a show for young fans, would they give us a 24 style plot twist mid season? I can't image that's going to happen. Has Star Wars in general ever done that? Han Solo might have been introduced as a scoundrel, but I think we'd agree that he never came off as evil. The story explained to us why he was the way he was and when we got to know him, we learned that he wasn't as bad as the story had introduced him to us, and I think the same thing is happening here with Jod. Characters in the Star Wars universe have been pretty black and white, no? They haven't done gray, have they? I'm drawing a blank.
@@G1Transformed Thanks so much for commenting all these great points!! 🙏 you’re right, the force theme doesn’t get played loosely in Star Wars. I can’t wait to see what the backstory is. Maybe he’s one of the Jedi survivors we heard about in Kenobi. Thanks again for the knowledge drop.

@SithList I always went on mad little adventures with friends when I was younger so I can definitely relate
Just for refrence old Republic credits are worth 1000s more than a republic or imperial credit
@@alexdavis-mann8513 Is that because of how rare they are? Also thanks for the info 🙏
