Seeing 2 kids in a Star Wars show pretending to fight with lightsabers is the most adorable thing I’ve seen in Star Wars ever, besides anything Grogu does.
A little bit of nighttime fuel when Neel’s siblings are watching the holo viewer. We try so hard to forget the Stat Wars Holiday special and someone has to remind us of it.
Love that Star Wars shirt, Wendy. Think I've seen you with that shirt before. Dustin looks like he's ready to go to the corner bodega in a state with cold winter weather XD
I've only watched the first episode so far (saving 2 for tomorrow night) and it was an absolute delight. I have already matched each of the kids with their equivalent Goonie, and am looking forward to the rest of the adventure. Also, the score is by Mick Giacchino, son of Mike. They've added one track - The Kids' Suite - to the DisneyMusicVevo channel so far. It's not the absolutely banging end credits track, but I guess we'll get that in time.
Omg I just realised something. The under secretary and others talking about the Great work. Surely they've been cut off since the high Republic then and the time of the great works being created like starlight beacon
I'm sure I'll say this at least one more time during the series but for a kids show this show is great, that opening sequence was fantastic. The adventure begins 😊
I liked the first two episodes there's something wrong with that society first they're giving those kids that career test when typically they wait till you're teenagers for that and second there's a barrier around their planet and the kids have never seen stars before it's all sus I think it's an imperial social experiment
Because they reference great works and stuff not to mention they allow jedi history etc I don't think it's empire. Tbf I'm getting more vibes they have been cut off since the high Republic possibly the great hyperspace disaster. The green barrier reminds me of the Nihil
@LetsAllBeFriendsOkay the way the planet is a myth feels more like a lot longer than more recent. Also nothing matches as such to imperial society or the centrists
21:55 i really like the interaction with each of the kids they literally bring back to my childhood lol not just them all of the characters for sure, i have good feeling bout this show i think there one eps that will be little weak but overall great show, well let see as it goes
The pacing was much better than the Acolyte which I also enjoyed but the one legit criticism was a lot of dead spots while here they did a great job of alternating between the action and character development imho….
This definitely met my expectations... I was dreading it, and after realising that I'd spent 15-20 minutes actively wishing that the main character would just get himself killed already, I dipped. My housemate (3 years older) dug it though. So he'll watch and I won't. Horses for courses and all that.
Disney's last move, use kids so no one can criticize the show, or else your being mean to a kid. Star Wars the once great franchise loved by all is now officially Teletubbies
You seem pretty eager to just criticize the show from the jump. Go on, what's stopping you from criticizing it? Others are still dogging on the show...some months in advance.
My guy when have kids starring in a show ever stopped anyone from criticizing it? If you wanna hate star wars you can but making up nonsense reasons for it is kinda pathetic.. Also it's "you're"

That boarding sequence was amazing

Haha yes!
I loved the Holiday Special, I was happy to see more when it came out when I was 10years old…🎉
I immediately thought of Tosche Station and power converters, too, lol
STAR WARS: Skeleton Crew is The Goonings meets Lost in Space

Oh that’s cool that it’s Michael Giacchino’s kid who did the music. It’s good!
This reminds me of "The Explorers:" from 1985
I grew up with that movie, and was surprised that so many people don't know it.
It’s called ‘Explorers’ not ‘The Explorers’.
Just sayin’…😅😂🤣
"You got to have rpoe, 50 ft." 🤣🤣🤣 love that reference, classic.
Lots of reactors are making remarks about how young they are to be taking career tests.
Did we forget how young Jedi began training??
This is true!
Wendy that shirt it 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Decent episodes so far. Pretty cool to see a diff side of star wars.
I’m excited to watch this with you guys I watched it last night I was waiting for your reaction let’s gooooo
Omg I just realised something. The under secretary and others talking about the Great work. Surely they've been cut off since the high Republic then and the time of the great works being created like starlight beacon
Start wars skeletons carw is a wonderful show to watch ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂
The reference to the Great Works is a direct reference to THR.
I just realised this. So they must have been cut off since then
or just after the Great Disaster.
@WardLafferty-p6w yep around the time of the great disaster makes sense. Also the green barrier just reminds me of the Nihil and how they travelled.
What does that have to do with The Hollywood Reporter?
@@RealBLAlley the high Republic era
They went on an adventure of a lifetime.
3:00 - Pirates of the Caribbean: In Space

Im getting treasure planet vibes from this.

My thoughts too. Maybe these guys are remnants of the old guard where people still loyal to the Imperial ways went to start their own Utopia.

@@jameswg13 That makes more sense. I am also getting an experimental colony/planet like the animal hybrid planet from Guardians 3.

Dad meant 'eventually', but before tomorrow 🤣

"Star Trek Prodigy" rip-off.
@@martinbraun1211 close as in really really close but the prodigy kids do not have a sheltered and peaceful lives...

George Lucas said "Star Wars is for kids "

When was this mythical time when "Star Wars was loved by all"?

Thank you for the breakdown 😊 I still need to watch it. I wanted to see what you thought 🩷
Ohhh I hope you enjoy it
@johncampea sent me! I’m excited to watch your content!
Thanks! John's great!
