This makes me miss the dollar fabric store and our fabric store Hancock fabrics even more they always had those embellishments!!! I loved going there the lace they had I can't even find anymore 😢😢😢

I like the vintage Halloween. And love the shadow box . I am going to do something similar from a box my father made when he was alive. Girl you have the best luck at thrift stores all I see is expensive mostly junk but a few great pieces. I hope Florida will have better ones when we move there. ( My fur babies and I). Love the bespoke nature of the vintage stuff. The details are great. You could also string the boxes on a fireplace garland for halloween.

I’m gonna have to admit that when I seen the fabric you were going to use on the hanging cone piece, I thought, dear Lord, that’s hideous! BUT, you redeemed yourself in a big way and make me admit I was wrong. That piece turned out stinking adorable!! I liked many of the projects you shared in this compilation.

I think I would have painted the edge of the cat in the orange because the cat had orange around his edges and then aged it with the wax. Just my opinion. I also would have painted the back side to match the front/edged colors. I probably would also have placed the ribbon around the edge to match with how you did the edges on BOO. It is extremely cute, I do love all the extras you've layered in.

Where did you find the Wooden box with various compartments?
I like to use the Melissa and Doug boxes I find while thrifting. I got that old one from the Goodwill pay by the pound store.
