Long live the 2012 L332 Autobiography. It had curves, it had depth, inside and out. Everything flowed like Lava even though it was Boxy. They will never ever make anything like the L332. The best thing about the L322 is the Revised Rear Bumper along with the front Upgraded Facia and side skirts. It Oozed Class.that was only on the 2012’s. Only 500 made and 50 Ultimate Edition Autobiography🤤😋. Then came the Semi Disaster next Gen Range Rover and Rover Sport and lost a bit of fan base to be fair. And now they’ve just completely butchered it.

Am i the only one who thinks the old sport looked better? The rear on the new one looks really bad imo. The front is decent i guess but there is sth about that third vent below the license plate that's just bugging me and i am not sure why. The side view is fantastic though.
EDIT: The more i look at the rear the less it bothers me but i still can't get over that third vent on the front
EDIT 2: Forget the previous edit, i took a second look and the rear still bothers me quite a lot haha

Really interested to see how manufacturers like Land Rover differentiate between models like these when they go fully electric. At least in ICE guise, you can tell the difference (especially in the character of the engine and exhaust tune)
When both the Range Rover and Sport have powerful, heavy battery packs, the only perceivable difference I suspect will be the size. They’ll both be quick and quiet. One just smaller than the other.

Polyurethane is hopelessly non-sustainable… you need to check the alternatives to leather and report accurately. Sure, leather is a CO2e problem, but the alternatives are a mixed-bag.

Great for sitting on the M25. Polyurethane sustainable? On what planet?

  • @jonathancollard3710

Plastic seats are now “sustainable’ 🤔 whereas, as long as humans eat beef, leather will always be a waste product. Not sure that woke equation really holds water 🤷🏻‍♂️
I am a massive JLR fan having had 2 x RR Vogues, 2 x RR Sport, 2 x Disco, a Disco Sport and Jag F-Pace…… but not sure about the overt “Americanisation” of rear styling, which apes the bland Lincoln / Cadillac SUV so favoured over here. Let’s see what it looks like in the flesh, but either way, yes, if it sells then it must be a good thing for the marque and U.K. trade surplus. 😁

the fabric seats actually are really high quality and probably better than leather. however leather is standard on this

I'm... very disappointed. I think it's a stylistic step back for the Sport. Doesn't look as sexy as a Velar, doesn't look as classy and elegant as the new Range Rover... it looks like a happy little accident involving a discovery sport and I'm not sure what

I can already see they’re still using the same shittastic plastic black external trim pieces that color fade in the sun. Just look at the roof antenna/wing mirror/D pillar of any Rangie older than 12 months old.

Shame about the pop out door handles. Otherwise I think it's a decent design, think you'll have to be careful with the colour choices though as there's not much detail to break up the colours
