Every player he works with is already a developed player - they have had high performance training. I would like to see him work with a rec player. No doubt he would be successful with any level - he's my fav coach. I would just like to see that process.
There are a few videos of him doing that. I gather from the comments that you can go and pay $1,000 for a 40 minute lesson. The recreational players I've seen in the videos are bit irritating. They don't really listen as well as these more serious students.
I've been watching loads of tennis videos from different trainers and I think this guys is the best I've seen. So much attention to detail. Knows how to break things down and isolate different aspects of a swing or serve...and then builds it back up again. I wish I had a coach like him here to help my 8 year old.
The Asian girl tended to have (non ideal) high elbow serves subconsciously while Patrick was trying to lower her elbow to align with the shoulder. Near the end the girl still had a high elbow, old habits die hard.
Seriously, she has not improved her serve at the end, with all the clues from Patrick! I don't see a shoulder tilt for more power for example. This is because both hands are raised almost simultaneously. Patrick also completely ignores the wristaction (flexion and internal rotation) of the striking arm in the striking preparation. He takes it out, while this action ensures more initial speed of the racket in the shot preparation. In the trophystance, the racket is much too far from the head and points practically vertically upwards instead of to the right of the head with a bent elbow and pointing diagonally forward. Which gives the racket initial speed! It is very unfortunate that we do not get to see the images that show that the serve has improved. I don't think there is any improvement. Patrick is always very complimentary to players, That's always nice to hear! Players soon believe that they are making progress in half an hour just for that! They also dare not admit that it has not really worked out much. That is also almost impossible, because of muscle memory, as we also see with this girl at the end. But all due respect to Patrick Moratouglu, who coaches many professional tennis players succesfully!
Coach can I apply all these to a 9 year old girl or would it be too much to ask for her age? I'm a bid worried cause of her age Would it be too much information and hard for her to absorb and apply?
damn this video helped me a lot to understand the serve, i have been going to classes for 2months and watching videos and no one has explained me the motions like in this one here.
The leg drive is much different than it would be to a pitcher. They are driving her UP and into the ball (into the court as well), her body weight transfer should carry her into the court while landing on her left leg as her right side comes around.
Merci infiniment de partager avec nous toutes ces techniques à travers toutes ces vidéos. Respect !

Thank you very much! Could you please tell us the forehand grip you recommend? Thanks again!
semi western
Continental , hammer grip is best
@@Charmander009 would not recommend on the forehand, hard to get top spin
@@matildasvensson8470 yeah is better to use a continental on your backhand
@@srijam1 semi western is for recreational players who cannot serve! Continental is recommended!

I would send my kid to his academy in a heartbeat.
How much does it cost?
Great explanations and I like it, that the lesson is about feeling the movement instead of thinking about it
I think think think...nothing good. Relaxing and all good. 😂
Very good ! I still struggle with the serve though it's not consistent enough
Great method! Decades struggling with my serve. W'll see how this works for me.

Can you please make a video on how to hit overhead shots like Roger Federer
What a lovely girl who follows her coach's instructions to the best of her ability.

It seems like you are teaching her to open up too much and not stay sideways?? I’m confused
I think he was teaching her one aspect of the serve and not trying to complicate his lesson by adding in too many things to correct at once.
Oh really. Im learning.
This is a great methodology. Thank you.
I have trouble with ball toss. I need how hight, angle and toss tricks. Can u help me Mr. Mouratoglou? :)
Anybody know if she is adjusting her grip to continental when serving?

My god i love it if he's gonna teach me. Not mad but chill on explaining.

Good coach as always.
Sir please more serve tips
Fantastic class, thank you

should she step forward slightly as a natural part of the follow thru? kinda like a pitcher?

how many sessions per day do u have?! well done
why " serve " give pain sometimes ?
I don't know how coaches let kids develop awful strokes like that.

Lol
Tutorial is good, but I detected several little hints that this lady is NOT really a beginner . . .
does anybody say she was a beginner?
