Congrats on the channel growth! So much of this video resonated with me as a fellow creative and I have to say that I love the concept of a more transparent process, because not only is it cool to watch how a story and its characters slowly come to life, but I also know that those videos will encourage and inspire me in my own creative journey. There is so much that creatives can learn from each other, regardless of what skill level they're at. I also know from experience that having a community involved in a project helps SO MUCH with motivation and morale, as well as getting important feedback. So I think you've had a wonderful idea with this. Here's to a wonderful 2025! I'll be praying for you. God bless
That was a truly excellent video! I’ve got a lot of high hopes for Indie. If this succeeds, I could foresee this becoming a meetup for Indie creators, not only to chat with each other, but maybe even find work, getting better work for pay than the other companies. Like a Modern EC Comics. As for your new series, the one thing I can recommend to you as an animator is to work lazier, or more aptly, work smarter, not harder. The one thing I’ve learned from my time researching animation is that the way they get animation out faster is to be lazy with it. You see it all the time in cartoons and anime. - Reusing certain animations (The running in Hannah Barbara cartoons) - minimal lip animation (saves time on lip syncing) - use of still frames (Can be used to convey movement) - etc I think this could be a real helpful to not just you, but other indie animators. Gets the product out in time, while keeping your sanity intact. Beyond that, Best of luck to you and your series and Long Live INDIE.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! You are spot on about the future I am striving to create for this channel and community. I want to be a resource to help creative people connect with and collaborate with each other so we don't have to rely on major companies to produce our own stories, music, games, etc. Thanks for the tip I'll definitely have to use those kinds of techniques If I want to produce animated content for Rift moving forward especially since at the moment it's just me. LONG LIVE INDIE!
Just take it one step and one day at a time and you'll get there! Wishing you the best of luck and can't wait to hear about your series in the future!!

I'm inspired. I'm gonna hit my goals as well🫵
But without joking though I am trying to make a new comic series and trying to instill some discipline so this is wholesome for me to see🫡
