Also, back when the majority of MTV's content actually involved music. CDM was great and needs to come back. With all the egotistical, washed up, or famous for nothing celebrities these days, I'm sure people would love to see them beat the hell out of each other.
My grandpa got in trouble because when I was young he let me watch an episode where they threw food in the fan. So I decided to throw my moms brownies directly into the ceiling fan and wasn't allowed to watch beavis and butthead anymore.
Stupidly enough, this show is extremely sentimental to me. It came out when I was about 5 and at that time my dad was working multiple jobs and he was rarely around. Once, maybe twice a month he would get an evening off and when that happened he and my younger brother and I would all sneak downstairs after dinner while my mom did the dishes and we would watch Beavis and Butthead and The Simpsons together. We would all try super hard to giggle quietly so my mom wouldn’t hear “because she would get mad”. In reality my mom knew exactly what we were doing. She’s told me many times that she was just happy we had something special (even if it was extremely stupid) that was just ours and his that we would always remember since we didn’t get to spend much time with him. Then when I was a teenager I got my wisdom teeth out and my dad bought me the entire Mike Judge Collection so we could marathon it again while I recovered. As an adult I value this show so much because it gives me the ability to put my worries aside and feel like a kid again, even if it’s just for a little while.
Yeah, my pops didn't "get it". I'm quite a bit older than you, & therefore my father was quite a bit older than your dad. He did enjoy mocking Butthead anytime he caught my brother, & I watching it though. He'd always come out with a: "Huh, huh, huh. That was cool!" Followed by a ''What the hell is wrong with those guys? Are they retarded or something?" 😄 Dad wasn't exactly known for his Political Correctness, needless to say... I miss you dearly Pop's. RIP 😔
Ghostface: Do you like scary movies? Beavis: Uh, yeah. Ghostface: What's your favorite scary movie? Beavis: It's probably that one with the chainsaw maniac.
#43 Really... A parent is going to blame a cartoon?! Don't blame them blame the parents! They should 've been watching over what their kids were watching!
Just like the creators of South Park...Trey Parker & Matt Stone had written into their song "Blame Canada": 🎶We'll cause a stir and make a fuss before somebody thinks of blaming us🎶 Mike Judge had said similar statements regarding the creation and broadcasting of Beavis and Butthead.
Well even tho this video was made 6 years ago, and you commented 5 years ago, let me tell you that you watched a video of nothing but lies. And I do mean nothing but lies. The kid admitted as an adult he had never even seen the show. His mom was a junkie and someone said it was the show beavis and butthead that caused it and they ran with it. Also #7 he was wrong about the inspiration for butthead. Wayyyyy wrong. This guy also states that there is never a state given for where the boys live. Except in the movie beavis and butthead do america, all cars in their town had Texas license plates. So even mike judge said "I guess it's in texas now since the animators did that". So yeah I would find a more factual video if I was you. I didnt even make to to 43. I fast forwarded to see if you were talking about the kid that burned down his trailer. I remember in Jr high, our principal had a huge assembly telling the dangers of watching shows like the Simpsons and "another show so vile I won't even mention it." We all started doing the bevis and butthead laughs for about 30 mins.
Here are some more quick fun facts: Judge partially based Cornholio's voice and attitude on some Harry Belfonte records his parents had, an argument he'd witnessed between a couple from Nepal, and an altercation he'd had with a Middle-Eastern gentleman while he was working in a movie theater in Albuquerque, who also provided him with the catchphrase "Are you threatening me?!" Also, Mike's original plot for the film involved an airborne chemical or such that made everyone in Highland as dumb as they were.
Update, they are no longer in TV limbo. Thanks to Paramount+ they are bringing back Not only Beavis & Butthead but also a new movie we were hoping for!! 😃⛓️🔥🤘🏼🔥⛓️
Being a teenager in the 90's was too awesome.. Grunge, alternative rock, metal, and thrash was at it's peak.. Seen so many bands live. Lollapalooza was epic in the 90's.. The only thing I remember are the bands.. ha ha ha ha..
I don't think you're really from the nineties. Literally no one who listened to Metal or Thrash would be caught dead at a Lollapalooza concert. It's like you just googled, "What was cool in the nineties."
On October 25, 1994, Mike Judge was on an on-line conference on America On-Line and was asked this very question. His answer: "They live in a FICTIONAL town somewhere on the border of western Texas and eastern New Mexico."
Beavis and Butthead were parodied twice in the preschool show, Arthur. Once when the kids thought up their own TV show ideas, all parodies of several cartoons (including South park, Dexter's Lab, and Dr. Katz) And again as an in-universe comic series, "Peabrain and Nuthead"
God, I remember seeing B&B on Liquid TV when it first aired. They still make me laugh all these years later. I even still have that damn issue of Rolling Stone somewhere.
In addition to Van Driessen I think Daria was another person who actually kind of cared about Beavis and Butthead. She would occasionally help them or give them advice and was one of the few people who were not completely annoyed by them.
Most of the parents don´t let their children watch this show but my dad actually wants me to watch it with him and calls it "quality father and daughter time"
No. 39: In the earlier episodes butthead is shown to wear a slayer t-shirt (points at beavis) instead of his usual Metallica shirt No. 40: *their names are constantly mispronounced*
Fact 108 there is a reference of Beavis & Butt-head in The Naked Gun 33 1⁄3: The Final Insult: After blowing up an oil rig Rocco say "Whoa, that was cool" and laughs like Butthead.
I turned into Cornhollio at school, I took some extra ritalin or something and in the middle of my english class,(we had a poor lady that was there for college because she wanted to be a teacher and she was stuck with the "bad kid" class). I decided to stand up on my desk and pull my shirt up and just went of it. I remember even walking out the door and wondering the hall like him... that teacher did not come back.
Patrick Stewart, who played Captan Picard in Star Trek TNG absolutely loves Beavis and Butt-Head, as he stated several times, for example on Graham Norton Show. And since Butt-Head dreamt once (Season 5 Episode 22 -Dream On) to be Captain Picard on the Enterprise, the circle is complete.
Actually, my mom wanted me to watch the show. Now, she was hesitant, but she would let me watch Beavis and Butthead and South Park. However, if I took something from those shows and used it improperly, she would correct me. Trust me, I learned the difference between reality and fantasy growing up
The best by far... #79 Beavis and Butthead's dorky friend, Stewart, always wore a "Winger" T-shirt, which according to Winger front-man, Kip Winger, single handedly killed the band career.
I personally wish Hulu would pick up the Beavis and Butthead series in it's entirety. I think Hulu would boost their classic show offering with this favorite.
#43 is not entirely correct. 💁♂️ The warning at the beginning of the show stating that Beavis and Butthead were dumb and should not be copied came after an episode were they threw a bowling ball off a roof to break it & see what's inside. The episode somehow prompted a teenage boy to throw a bowling ball off a bridge onto a highway, where it decended into traffic, crashed into a car window, went through the vehicle and killed a child in a car seat.
Don't forget that there is also a reference to Beavis and Butt-Head in a pixelized train video game named: "Tiny Rails". An amazing game which I play all the time, and they're names are "Beaver and Budhead" and they are VIP passengers that can ride on you train.
Just so you know if he does do it the "facts " wont be facts. I can tell he makes up most of them. I have caught him lying about a couple things already, and have only heard him list 3-4 so far. I know for a fact Butt-Head was created first he said it on Letterman, and this guy says it was Beavis. I have never seen this guys videos but if the first one I see is bunk you can be sure that others are too.
108. In the early 90's a show of skits, musical performances other etc, was called "MomTV" hosted by women playing "Mrs. Beavis & Mrs. Butt-Head". 109. Mike Judge also voices the Burger World Manager, Joe Adler, and the Maxi-Mart clerk. 110. Snoop Dogg guest starred a few times when MTV aired many episodes called a "Moron-athon". He appeared as himself in the animated background along side Beavis. 111. Not counting the movie, Tom Anderson's wife has spoken ONE time. 112. Number 49, was brought into an episode. Tom Anderson called them this. 113. John Heder was once considered to play Butt-Head in the live action movie spoke of earlier.
His mother taught at Highland High School thats where he got the name for the school. The town was never actually revealed to be called Highland. Mike judge said they live somwhere between Albuquerque and Garland Texas in the Beavis and Butthead do America commentary track. I say they most likely lived somewhere near Hobbs or something which has characteristics of both states. Mr Anderson and his wife later became Hank and Peggy Hill. Many Albuquerue staples and business made it into both shows. The gas station they buy nachos up "gas sups" is based on local Allsups gas stations which are known for their nachos and chimichangas. Whataburger a southwest chain is parodied in Beavis and Butthead and Hank and Bobby frequently get burgers there. A mexican buffet called Panchos makes several appearances in king of the hill, its a real Albuquerque restaurant which went out of business during the great recession. It was actually a family favorite. Also, Highland and is still somewhat known as the "black school" in albuquerque. We have a very high hispanic and spanish population and highland is known as the black school, its in a side of town called the "warzone" which is our ghetto. La Cueva is known as the white school and is in a better neighborhood but is plagued by heroin addiction. Mike Judges mom was a teacher at the "black school" which Mike Judge attented when he wasnt living in Garland with his father.
I miss being able to make my voice sound like Beavis and Butthead. Plus I never get to why they keep on bringing back to show and cancel it over and over again.
I like how the show just makes sense with its backstory. Like it wasnt a multmillion dollar company made by upper class hipster druggies trying to be funny. Instead its actually funny and real. Made by someoe who based it off his own style and way. And it worked brilliantly and a company saw that.
In "Beavis and Butt-Head Do America" Tom Anderson and Muddy had Texas license plates even though you claimed the state where Highland was located was never implemented.
There was also a guy named Beavis in an old twilight zone episode, so it must be an actual name. Though I don't think anyone will name their sons Beavis again, because Beavis ruined it for the name, much like there aren't a lot of Adolfs any more.
I have no idea why this 6 yr old video showed up but it was great. A politician calling them buffcoat and beaver.... it's been 10 minutes and I can't wipe the smile off my face. Thanks
6:17 fact #108: cornholio in its spoken form, actually have a meaning in Brazilian Portuguese. It can be understood as cuckold in certain areas of the country. Noticeably in northeast.
I rewound it actually, listened again, then felt poorly about where my life is at because I was going to seek validation from strangers for what I knew somebody had discovered already.
Most recently, Mike Judge resprised his roles as the characters in the Adam Sandler Netflix movie Sandy Wexler. During the end credits, it has Beavis and Butthead making a prank phone call to Sandy wexler
When that 5 year old made his house caught on fire, and the mom blamed Beavis and Butthead, the neighbors said that she didn't even have cable.
Wow, what a liar
Well yeah- it was Buffcoat and Beaver, don't you know...
Yeah, this guy isn't the greatest with his facts.

MTV: ridiculousness ridiculousness ridiculousness ridiculousness ridiculousness ridiculousness ridiculousness ridiculousness
Remember when it hit the air waves was a good show for laughs MTV these days Sucks
6:26 "butthead is wearing a slayer t-shirt" (points at beavis)
I was about to point that out. The commentator was wrong. It was Beavis not Butthead. It can't be a fact if its wrong.
YUP! Kind of pissed me of hahaha COME ON GUYS!
That was actually the first episode blood drive
Yep, thank you.
He also called Bobby Hill's voice actor Pamela Aldon instead of the correct last name, Adlon.

you have missed the most important one: Beavis and Butthead, according to the movie, are (probably) (STEP)BROTHERS!!!!
How?
Uhh didn’t the movie confirm they weren’t brothers?
*half brothers
They aren't brothers. You can look at their fathers and see how they favor them, separately. If anything they're first cousins.

109. Mike Judge also voices the Burger World Manager, Joe Adler, and the Maxi-Mart clerk.

Why can’t you do the voices anymore?
Never clicked a video so fast. My favorite episode is when they watch "It's so cold in the D".
6:23 *Beavis, not Butthead ;)
Also there was a video game "Beavis and Butthead" for the Sega Dreamcast, and SNES.There was also no logos on their shirts.
6 years after this video and now Beavis and Butt-Head DID get a second movie!!
I like how the show just makes sense with its backstory. Like it wasnt a multmillion dollar company made by upper class hipster druggies trying to be funny. Instead its actually funny and real. Made by someoe who based it off his own style and way. And it worked brilliantly and a company saw that.
This show is awesome!!! One of the best shows EVER!!
I don't think Stuart's shirt killed Winger.
HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE # 56 has got to be changed, because BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD are about to “ DO THE UNIVERSE “
In "Beavis and Butt-Head Do America" Tom Anderson and Muddy had Texas license plates even though you claimed the state where Highland was located was never implemented.
107 celebrity death match facts!!!!
Please do King of the Hill!
There was also a guy named Beavis in an old twilight zone episode, so it must be an actual name. Though I don't think anyone will name their sons Beavis again, because Beavis ruined it for the name, much like there aren't a lot of Adolfs any more.
Number 108. Beavis n' Butthead are in the Syphilic song "Symphony Of the Slit Throats"
6:23 They called Beavis Butt-Head. No one caught that? Okay :P
right away
I thought I had a massive brain fart when I heard the mix up. I'm glad more people noticed it.
I caught it.
I rewound it actually, listened again, then felt poorly about where my life is at because I was going to seek validation from strangers for what I knew somebody had discovered already.
I caught it
39 is seen wearing a slayer t shirt.
Clearly beavis, with finger pointing to beavis with beavis wearing the slayer shirt.
Most recently, Mike Judge resprised his roles as the characters in the Adam Sandler Netflix movie Sandy Wexler. During the end credits, it has Beavis and Butthead making a prank phone call to Sandy wexler
If you don't think Beavis & Butthead was borderline genius comedy, there's something soooooo wrong with you! Ahhhhhhhhhh, heyyy baby.
"Boombox and Beaver" ❤️😂
Johnny depp and marlon brandibused to act like beavis and butt head off camera between scenes that's fuckin epic!

11:13 How many people clamored to see Daria once again? I actually would like to know.
Austin Gore I would have loved it.
They forgot the one that they actually did a duet video with Cher l Got You Babe.
funfact Butthead may be an insult, name calling in pop culture, but Headbutt is a perfectly ordinary word.
God the background music gives me a weird PlayStation 1 sort of nostalgia.
I feel like the guy in the video knows nothing about Beavis and Butthead for some reason
Why is it always 107 facts. Why not 100, 105, 110, or 120?
This should be “107 facts about mike judge”
I remember at 13yo seeing the first episode. Called my best friend and said "dude, something like I've never seen just came on mtv".
I remember being like 6 or 7, and my dad taking me out of bed when my mom was in bed and watching hours of beavis and butthead on a school night
