      Thanks Jane. They are kids, they are really good boys but they are a bit numb to all these severe storms. The blessing is no tornados we’re touching down last night. There was a lot of damage and 220,000 people without electric in the Tulsa area. They confirmed one casualty in OK from the wind. It is so intense here in the spring! Thanks so much for watching 🫶

    This is an excellent video. I understand no one worrying. My husband sits in his lounge chair when a tornado is 10 miles away and heading our way! After we don't get hit, he says "See nothing to worry about!" LOL. I hope it never happens here. I am writing this as we are in a thunderstorm warning and flood warning. Thunder and lightening. I know when we have Severe Weather , I'll head to my "safe room" .
    You can't take tornadoes , straight line winds, etccc for Granted .
    December 10, 2021 , we had tornado hit the Warehouses in Edwardsville IL and it killed 6 people who was at work and there's 30 or more warehouse filled with people 24/7. Which is only 4 miles from my region .
    People were all out that night , and the people on the highways. I keep tracked of the weather , throughout,

    The biggest takeway from this video is. I get the wind is pushing it through but you will have black mold form underneath that door. I know from experience during Hurricane Sally here in Pensacola. I had black mold form underneath my back door with the same issue you had ironically same door type. I went ahead and had the door replaced through my insurance. I would suggest the same.

    • @chuck32504
      @chuck32504 Год назад +2

      Consider it a pre-emptive strike against black mold replacing that door like I did because all it takes is one area to take hold then it will spread everywhere from there. You can not get underneath the door unless you remove it so might as well replace it through your insurance.

    I moved my mom and brother to a small town about 10 miles north of Checotah the day that storm hit. They lost power for a day. My other brother and I had gone back to North Texas, so we weren't there for the storms.. my daughter lives in South Tulsa. They just had some small branches down.

    I don’t generally get too worried about severe thunderstorms, but I’m in Fargo North Dakota the big big ones like the one going at you in this video not Afton but I do recommend put on a pair of jeans and shoes and socks have a pair of shorts and sandals, ready to go to for later on when you don’t have power and what not but jeans shoes socks hundred percent so you’re doing pretty good he did really good actually

    pretty crazy storm, i live a mobile home and it felt like it was tilting, in addition, one of my family members actually had their carport flown onto the roof along with a pretty good sized trailer that was chained to the carport flip onto the storm shelter that thankfully no one was in along with parts of their garden destroyed. Power lost for about a week

    Glad yall didn't lose power. I'm in Catoosa and we saw 116+winds. Our town looks like a town wide tornado hot. We are going on 54 hours with no power. PSO is saying it may not be back up til Saturday. Fun fun. I've lived here my whole life, and other then the 1993 F5 tornado, never seen anything like this. PSO said this is the biggest restoration event since the 2007 ice storm. 2,700 crews have come from all around the country to help. As far as New Jersey.

      I’m glad your ok! It was terrible. It’s in the 90’s this week, and must be so hard to remain at home, I’m so sorry everyone has to go through this. Jeremy was just telling me some QT’s are out of gas as well.

      @Paragon Ridge Ranch yeah yesterday in BA and Claremore and Catoosa QT was all out and some of the smaller gas stations. Some found gas in Owasso. It is insane. Between generators and then also a lot of driving around to stay cool and charge devices, alot of gas is getting used. Lol

    Thursday, July 20th was a Severe Thunderstorm *NIGHTMARE!!!!!!* I was *TERRIFIED!!!!!!* Our house almost lost power, (thank God we didn't), but we did have a minor power surge. I was so scared that I wanted it to stop!
    Wind was about 50mph at the least and there was also hail.
    So yeah, I have an EXTREME fear of Severe Thunderstorms.
