I’m baffled by the response of some of your family. They seemed oblivious to the situation! Glad YOU were on point. Your home is totally equipped. I wish you the best.
Thanks Jane. They are kids, they are really good boys but they are a bit numb to all these severe storms. The blessing is no tornados we’re touching down last night. After we don't get hit, he says "See nothing to worry about!" LOL. I hope it never happens here. I am writing this as we are in a thunderstorm warning and flood warning. Thunder and lightening. I had black mold form underneath my back door with the same issue you had ironically same door type. I went ahead and had the door replaced through my insurance. I would suggest the same.
Consider it a pre-emptive strike against black mold replacing that door like I did because all it takes is one area to take hold then it will spread everywhere from there. You can not get underneath the door unless you remove it so might as well replace it through your insurance.
I had this happen to my pool house and got an ozonater and it killed the black mold. Absolutely they should silicone that door or install some weather strips
Uh oh… we used to have water coming in our sliding glass doors in the back of our house. We had to put in French drains and regrade the yard to make the water by pass the back of the house. So far, no more flooding!

"Stay away from electrical appliances"; yet EVERY TV IS ON and someone is in front of at least ONE of them the whole time! I don’t generally get too worried about severe thunderstorms, but I’m in Fargo North Dakota the big big ones like the one going at you in this video not Afton but I do recommend put on a pair of jeans and shoes and socks have a pair of shorts and sandals, ready to go to for later on when you don’t have power and what not but jeans shoes socks hundred percent so you’re doing pretty good he did really good actually
your right, thunder and lightening is so relaxing! We have had a lot of rain the past 3 days and I LOVE IT! THe livestock's ponds are full, the garden is watered and the farmers may possible be able to grow more hay!
pretty crazy storm, i live a mobile home and it felt like it was tilting, in addition, one of my family members actually had their carport flown onto the roof along with a pretty good sized trailer that was chained to the carport flip onto the storm shelter that thankfully no one was in along with parts of their garden destroyed. Power lost for about a week
Glad yall didn't lose power. I'm in Catoosa and we saw 116+winds. Our town looks like a town wide tornado hot. We are going on 54 hours with no power. PSO is saying it may not be back up til Saturday. Fun fun. I've lived here my whole life, and other then the 1993 F5 tornado, never seen anything like this. @Paragon Ridge Ranch yeah yesterday in BA and Claremore and Catoosa QT was all out and some of the smaller gas stations. Some found gas in Owasso. It is insane. Between generators and then also a lot of driving around to stay cool and charge devices, alot of gas is getting used. Lol

"Stay away from electrical appliances"; yet EVERY TV IS ON and someone is in front of at least ONE of them the whole time! You people are lucky, with all the lightening around you that none of the TV's were damaged! When we have lightning out here in AZ I unplug the TV's, radios, computers etc. to be on the safe side!
I’ve almost had a tornado in my backyard but it stopped forming luckily it was just wind and just a false alarm
You guys lucked out and didn't lose power.
Glad you're all alright
Your dogs are so nicely behaved my dog will almost have a heart attack how bad she gets scared at thunder
We had a lightning show just like this here in MA a few weeks ago. It was crazy, as we usually don’t get lightning like that
Anyone else see the supercell?
Where?
I live between Pryor and Salina I thought it was war in my yard and my trampoline got flipped over! I use my trampoline for exercise we got up to 105 mph winds!
I moved my mom and brother to a small town about 10 miles north of Checotah the day that storm hit. They lost power for a day. My other brother and I had gone back to North Texas, so we weren't there for the storms.. my daughter lives in South Tulsa. They just had some small branches down.
That’s not to far from us! We are just northwest of there. Glad you all were ok
That storm scared me so.much! I sheltered in my. Bathtub. Under blankets. And pillows over my head.😢
I am glad your guys’s OK
I love Oklahoma. Nothing like the weather there.
I live in Sapulpa it was really bad it was so scary! Some of my neighbors didn’t get their power back on for a whole week!
We were suppose to get bad weather today and we got lucky although really wish we had lots of thunder and lightning I love them
your right, thunder and lightening is so relaxing! We have had a lot of rain the past 3 days and I LOVE IT! THe livestock's ponds are full, the garden is watered and the farmers may possible be able to grow more hay!
Theres thunderstorm here on brazil botucatu
glad you guys are ok
pretty crazy storm, i live a mobile home and it felt like it was tilting, in addition, one of my family members actually had their carport flown onto the roof along with a pretty good sized trailer that was chained to the carport flip onto the storm shelter that thankfully no one was in along with parts of their garden destroyed. Power lost for about a week
Glad yall okay
Here in Canada, we got phone alerts for emergency alerts.
It looks like the kids don't give a hoot 😅
Glad yall didn't lose power. I'm in Catoosa and we saw 116+winds. Our town looks like a town wide tornado hot. We are going on 54 hours with no power. PSO is saying it may not be back up til Saturday. Fun fun. I've lived here my whole life, and other then the 1993 F5 tornado, never seen anything like this. PSO said this is the biggest restoration event since the 2007 ice storm. 2,700 crews have come from all around the country to help. As far as New Jersey.
I’m glad your ok! It was terrible. It’s in the 90’s this week, and must be so hard to remain at home, I’m so sorry everyone has to go through this. Jeremy was just telling me some QT’s are out of gas as well.
Lol
Great video! Lots of suspense! I had to stop the video and go make microwave popcorn so I had some thing to nervously crunch on. Great house. Mom went into full mom mode. Fam didn't seem all that impressed! I love storms...I want to move to OK! Good job giving us the full experience.
Well done Chrissy. Keep everyone safe.
Be safe everyone
I can't beleive you guys are touching wet towels on your floor in the middle of that electrical storm??? Lol
A month ago, my city also got hit my a bow echo squall line and we got 80-100mph winds as well with a “destructive” threat. There was lots of debris flying the road, lightning, and power flashes there was severe damage around the city
They are pretty fierce! I’m glad you were ok;)
@@ParagonRidgeRanchand ❤we have 100mp winds that hit my dad Houes the wind was strong and it hit my sister house but there okay
bro I thought the 60mph winds that we had where I live yesterday were bad I couldn’t even imagine this
Over in wellston - the storm flipped our chicken coop ! We were gathering 14 chickens in the middle of the storm ! We lost power from 11pm sat - 2:30pm sunday ! All chickens are good !
Oh my!! So happy they are ok!!
lol those guys were so chill about it
We were in bed. I told Rick crap it is raining again and high winds and rolled over and went back to sleep. It took the hole canopy off of the gas station just a few miles down the road.

I am so glad you have a tornado shelter!
Me too!! We had a scary close call when we lived in Broken Arrow and that Monday we ordered the shelter! Felt so much safer ever since.
I was at my dads in Moore ok and all we had was rain and strong winds we didnt have anything and my mom is safe half of my neighborhood has no power and my lake has a bit of damage
i had 60 mph wids and the power whent off for 4h lucky yall are safe
Thursday, July 20th was a Severe Thunderstorm *NIGHTMARE!!!!!!* I was *TERRIFIED!!!!!!* Our house almost lost power, (thank God we didn't), but we did have a minor power surge. I was so scared that I wanted it to stop!
Wind was about 50mph at the least and there was also hail.
So yeah, I have an EXTREME fear of Severe Thunderstorms.
I had to laugh at the lab. The other dogs were concerned and worried, but the lab was oblivious and wanted to play. Glad the storm wasn't worse and hopefully y'all don't have any mold issues from the water leak.
He is so cute!!
I have a bit of tree damage at the lake in Afton Oklahoma
I live in sand springs and have to say that was the craziest storm that I have been through my kids were freaking out with the power surges
It was intense. All the customers at our feed store are tell me that Sapulpa and Sand springs are really really bad and I don’t see it on the news recording it but I’m so glad that you guys are OK.
Why was that sweet white dog left outside??
I was in Oklahoma for that visiting my dad. Reminded me of a Louisiana hurricane that was crazy!!
i was in this storm in tulsa! a tornado happened, a few trees fell town and the lights went out for some 5 days, meanwhile all of this was happening, i was in the hospital parking lot, i’m sure the tornado was ontop of me or something, and a lot of people were also in the parking lot, i believe it was an ef3, and i also think nobody died which was an good thing! (my neighbors tree is still regrowing from the tornado lol-)
Why do we have more videos like this? This is why I’m subscribing
Thank you Cole!! Oklahoma had a lot of storms. I will try dear;)
Ok
omg that was the worst storm i have ever been in i remeber that it was the worst glad every one was safe we where to
Your kids don’t mind too well and don’t act cautiously afraid if storms but your pets do!!
I'm from Australia we have those Severe Thunderstorms in Australia as well
