- The comics of Rick and Morty have introduced a lot of characters and one of them was Morty Smith from 304-X universe. I found him particularly interesting because of his similarities with Evil Morty and that was the main reason why I made this video in a first place. The main difference I see between this evil morty and the one in the show is the one from this comic simply wanted vengeance to destroy all ricks while the one in the show wanted to get away from them, it's interesting to see they both hate Ricks but went about the situation differently

Pre watching this video - Maybe it’s the same morty but because mortys will never be as smart and cunning as ricks they one way or another will lose so he gives up trying to defeat them and escapes them instead

It could be a lack of further knowledge, from what I can tell dictator morty isn’t clearly as clever as evil morty, evil morty has controlled and fooled literally every Rick in some way, he’s broke the curve AND designed his own portal tech, dictator morty threw a tantrum took over earth and failed to find a way to access other reality’s RELYING on another Rick to do his dirty work(getting a charged portal hun) which to me shows evil morty is leaps and bounds smarter than dictator morty

It's highly likely that evil morty got sent back into the curve and if he was created by Rick's then that means he was most likely on the citadel while summer and Beth's were helping c137 he could have been somewhere fighting normal turned feral mortys
The comics being canon or not is completely irrelevant. Good stories are good stories

I think the potential of mortys could be catastrophic towards the ricks if they reached it fully. Rick made the curve where ricks were the smartest, but around that time mortys didn't really exist yet (at least for C-137) so using that, who is to say that a smarter individual can't come from the smartest in the curve, and become smarter than the aforementioned?
Well maybe this Morty became a evil genius because he started using the seeds that Rick had him smuggle. They made him super smart and boom...evil genius..
The seed doesn't last longer than a few minutes via show cannon. He'd have to have a cave full of em strengthened, reduced and processed like a certain Columbian plant which gets turned into "America's cup of coffee" lol

Not only do I think it would be incredibly easy for Morty to become as smart as Rick but I even think it’s possible for Morty to become as evil as an evil Rick. Or your average morally grey Rick. I then just insert something terrible that Rick did to him and then boom you have an evil super genius Morty.
Let’s paint a picture of Evil Morty’s nexus point where he took another path then our prime Morty did.
S1E6 Rick Potion #9: Rick creates a love potion that infects the world turning everyone into monsters. After several careless attempts to fix the world it ends up being hopeless so he takes Morty into another universe at the moment their counterparts die. They arrive and have to bury their counterparts in the backyard. This fucks Morty up like our prime Morty only he doesn’t recover from it. Like prime Morty did. An increasing feeling that nothing maters anymore he no longer sees those whom call him family as his true family. He blames Rick for this and that hatred grows over following episodes. Where, before his love for Rick allowed him to forgive wreck for neglecting him, and abusing him and putting him in life-threatening self-serving situations. Now every time record does this to Morty, his hatred only grows. But he keeps this to himself, convincing Rick that he’s moved past it. Over time he starts developing the idea that Rick needs to be stopped but because Rick is the smartest man in the multi-verse, and he’s just a Morty ‘stupidity-shield’ he decides to continue his adventures with Rick until he finds a way to stop him. The answer comes a lot sooner then anyone would expect.
S3E8 Morty’s Mind Blowers. Morty finds out that Rick has been removing and saving Morty’s memories anytime Morty has experienced something he wasn’t able to handle. Instead of reacting in anger and attacking Rick he forgives him while deciding that this was how he was going to achieve his goals. Periodically Morty sneaks down into the secret chamber to upload all the memories where Rick has messed up. Even tho most of those memories are of completely petty things like Rick forgetting the name of a popular TV show or not realizing his fly was down. There are also more serious mistakes in there to like Rick admitting he loves his grandchildren especially Morty willing even to sacrifice himself to save them and possibly other mistakes that would give Morty an edge in the future. Eventually Morty uses the device to incapacitate Rick completely and download all of his memories. Leaving him in a catatonic state.
With all of Rick’s memories, Morty becomes the smartest man in the multi-verse. And unknowingly he starts to become more like Rick overtime as it’s the knowledge of everything itself that makes Rick who he is.
The central finite curve is all of the Universes where Rick Sanchez is the smartest person of that Universe. Breaking the curve allowed Evil Morty to escape into other Universes as well as allow the Universes within the finite curve to be exposed to potentially smarter people than Rick. Going to a universe within the curve where a Rick doesn't exist makes me think that a Rick did exist there, he just doesn't exist anymore.
I really love the idea, that everything is possible with this kind of shows
Do the TV show writers have any connection or any say in what happens in the comics? Or is it all just considered non cannon? And do we follow Our same Rick in the comics or is it a different RIck?

Only the first two volumes of the comics and Rick and Morty go to Hell follow Rick and Morty C132 the rest of the comics follow C137 Rick and Prime Morty from the show

I was thinking that E. Morty's Rick might be the Rick from the episode where That rick with the eye-patch was hiding from the other ricks using like thousands Mortys, Like, that rick literally had a chip implaneted in his head, the moment we learned of, the next scene showing evil Morty dropping a device from his eye on the floor and breaking it. If that was absolutely random and not at all related to this hypothesis, idk what might be the case.
My theory is that evil Morty managed to transfer Ricks intelligence into himself.

Edit : I know that the Morty we follow is from the same universe as Prime Rick. This is not what I meant people. What I meant is ; Evil Morty was the Morty that Rick Prime had as his Morty. You know how you can change Morties and Ricks. Remember before Evil Morty got selected as the Citadel president, and there was a school for Morties to teach them how to assist a Rick? So my theory was, lets say Evil Morty was from universe X. Rick Prime got Evil Morty from universe X, which was a different universe from Rick Prime's own universe, in which he left our Morty, the Morty we follow. I thought it would be cool if the Evil Morty, was the assistant of Rick Prime, even if they are from the different universes, maybe he was a regular Morty, but Rick Prime is such an a-hole, to the point Evil Morty became Evil Morty. Its an easy thing to understand people.

Definitely had the same thought as well, even tho our Morty is considered Morty “Prime”, the grandson of Rick Prime. I’d like to believe that Evil Morty made a clone to replace himself using R.Prime’s tech that he left behind or from other ricks bc he didn’t want to hurt his (og) family for wanting to leave. It’s a nice thought/theory to have which one of the amazing thing about r&m. We’ll have to leave it to the writers 👆

I'm sure many of the smith homes have a rick and morty grave in the backyard.. I wouldn't say it's the same universe. Infinite means most yards have graves.
I wouldn't say most, but there probably are others tho! Other question would be to when were those other universes rick n mortys buried...remember they went to that particular universe cuz those rick n morty died at that time they needed to switch so they could assume there place... Making it sound like like there was alimited choice, doesnt mean others didnt die but prob at diff times.

Don't talk so fast. It makes it difficult to connect to not only the story, but worse the will to listen again. It's not difficult to hear but more difficult to follow.
I want to know why every universe is denoted by a letter and 3 numbers. That's only 25,974 possible universes. Not that it matters, because if there are infinite universes in this fiction, and Rick isolated all the ones where's he's the smartest being in the universe, that would still be infinite universes. There would also be infinite universes where Morty is the smartest, or evil, or both. There would also be infinite universes where other people invented ways to break into the "Central Finite Curve" - a name which makes no sense.
The biggest diffrence between evil morty and regular morty is evil morty a morty version that loss him forgiveness i dont know how he loss it but that loss lead to evil morty

Evil Morty wanted to escape the central finite curve , the universe without a Rick is still inside the central finite curve even if it doesn’t have a rick in it.
Yeah the central finite curve is meant to be universes where ricks the smartest man in the universe but perhaps one of them that wasn’t like that slipped into the central finite curve , cause it is infinite universes inside it.
I think the universe without a rick is in the central finite curve because there’s still nothing more dominant than Rick, a rick could go to that universe and instantly be the most powerful thing

The fact that Rick and Morty is a show about infinite realities doesn't mean something is going to be canon in at least one reality. Infinites don't work that way. There are infinite even numbers, but that doesn't mean every number is an even number.

@@Roeclean What has to be a contradiction? Infinite sets basically never include everything. Well, technically there are infinite infinite sets that include everything, but it's an infinitely tiny infinity compared to the infinity of infinite sets that don't include everything.
