So for Summer 2024, JBL pushed out some pretty big software updates to their Partybox, Partyboost and Auracast speakers. And now you can actually pair your newer Auracast partybox speakers to your older TWS party’s speakers and you can pair your smaller aura cast speakers to your larger party boxes that are also using Auracast. However, there is still some fragmentation and rules that you need to be aware of. But today we’re going to be breaking down JBL’s new Speaker pairing protocol rules and im going to show you how it works.

I really hope Auracast will be the last speaker pairing protocol JBL will use. I will let this slide because they're trying to solve issues with the past with Auracast but seriously adding a new speaker pairing protocol for every generation is outright planned obsolescence. With sony, they already got it right with Party connect and that is despite being the same speaker protocol for generations now.
Wait. Correct me if I’m wrong ain’t that the old RUclips pfp.
@@Laz3rSkarYes lol
U know it won't be the last one
How exactly do you connect them though? There are so many JBL apps that it's a little bit confusing. Have a Partybox 120 Club and a Flip 5 and just can't get them to connect. Doesn't work with the JBL Portable or JBL Partybox app.
Hi Brother i have four jbl partybox 110s and two jbl partybox 310s and four jbl extrem 3s and four jbl go4 can i connect them together ???
youll be able to connect the Xtreme 3s and the Go4s together but won't be able to connect them to the 110s and 310s. you can connect 2 110s or 310s together(regardless of which one, for example 1 110 and 1 310 will connect wirelessly) or you can connect unlimited 110s and 310s together by daisychaining them together(not wireless).
I tried to pair a go4 (auracast) to an extreme 3 (partyboost) and it didnt work
I did use the app aswell
@@RonnieEvans-l8ddid you find a way to do it? Cuz I have an extreme 3 and thinking of buying a go 4 if it connects to it
@@sacdlg2430 it turns out the go4 can't being one of the budget speakers
@@sacdlg2430It does not work sadly…
so... actually they haven't made things better lol..
boss i am confusing about the pairing of my jbl charge 5 with my jbl stage 320, i cant connect them, what will i do boss? hope my question get a solution, thank you boss
can jbl charge 5 can pair to my stage 320?
At 1:16 you say "if you want to mix and match Auracast and PartyBoost speakers you have to use jbl's app"... This is inaccurate, or at least missing some details. I read somewhere else that the Xtreme 4 is the only speaker (maybe also some of the partyboxes?) that support both Auracast and PartyBoost . The Clip 5 and Go 4 ONLY support Auracast.. I have a Clip 5 and Xtreme 3 and I can not connect them together through the app. The app is very explicit about this too, it won't even show them on the same page, it will have separate pages for Auracast speakers and PartyBoost speakers. I have also verified this with JBL support.
You should review the wonderboom 4
No pls no ue this sound like 💩💩💩
I have a question...When are you buying the JbL partybox 1000...Cause it's really good too...And I wanna know the specs
It's an outdated model. There's no point for it. It's like buying a party box 100 when the 120 exists
@@bryanedominguez But it's still good to buy it and share the specs for those who don't have time to buy the ultimate
So JBL CONNECT + worked well, then Partyboost worked… a bit less well and now auracast just has a constant echo, which I’ve noticed significantly weakens bass…
Very disappointing, might just sell my flip 5 and jump back a generation to the Connect + era
First
This sucks
