Turning an old door into a new desk for my wife for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I kept this interior door from our first home that we lived in for almost 15 years. I had the intention of turning it into something but it has sat in my friend's barn for the past year and a half. My wife starting making jewelry and arranging flowers but she didn't have a dedicated workspace to do it. Since this year was our 25th Wedding Anniversary I decided this would make a great gift!

I can't wait to get started on mine! I have a door from my house that was built in 1903 that was double-hinged between the kitchen and dining room. That varnish was on 2000 sq ft of hardwood floors and we went through 250 sanding discs and 22 sanding drum sheets. The drum sander used 20 grit to get the varnish off the floors. It was crazy!
