Awesome result. Guess it's good to have the table level when you do that epoxy then?! : )

I had to do two coats with a sanding in between, which you see in the video, I think I used around 4 gallons, thank you!

Man that is awesome!! I want a new patio table and this would be so great! so when you poured the epoxy in the recessed areas, did you let it completely dry before you can back and did the rest? Also, is epoxy affected by the weather because I could only do this on the porch. I definitely would do a small piece first to get the feel for it before I would do a door. Anyway this is amazing and you have a new subscriber!

Thank you for watching and the kind comment! Yes, fully dry, but maybe not fully cured. Make sure to check the instructions for the epoxy you use. BUT epoxy is definitely impacted by weather; I have found this out the hard way. I wouldn't recommend it for anything outdoor. Use Seal Once Marine Sealant OR Spar Urethane with lots of coats and sanding in between. Best of luck and thanks for subscribing!

Love it. I’m thinking about creating a table for my office and came across your video. How many people can realistically sit at the table? Also, do you have plans as far as the piping?

Thanks for watching! I think 6 comfortably. Good luck with your build! And I don’t unfortunately, but it’s pretty easy with the plumbers pipe, just figure out how big of a base you want and then see what’s available locally to build it, you could also order plumbers pipe on Amazon. Good luck!

I think it needed more sanding overall, and more buffing. But otherwise, i love it. I may do the same thing.

Hey so I’m doing this project BUT client wants the door to remain with cracked paint etc. I’ve got it cleaned up but do you have any lessons learned from this project!
    Also, great work!

Hi Kurt! Thanks for your comment and sorry for my late response. You should be able to pour the epoxy right on top of the cracked paint and door. I would do one thinner coat to seal everything up first, then after it dries, lightly sand and do the final coat. How did it go??

After you sanded it down what did you use to bring the shine back?

This time I used some Johnson’s paste wax. But I’d recommend a malco auto polish. I have another video where I go into this: ruclips.net/video/TdKsiX9yTgY/видео.html

Why did you sand the top after finishing the resin?

I ran out of epoxy the first pour haha and then had to order more. When I did the second pour I had to blend the two. Hope this helps

Totally annoying and useless noisy, no subtitles or commentary. Get lost with the music and tell us what you are doing

Such entitled attitude! Not every video is made with an intention of tutorial. Some people just like to share what they created. You can use it as an inspiration or just to admire.
