As always I LOVE IT. You guys are so talented and so good together. Since I don't live in your area I miss the online concerts that you had last year because I love a completely all brass band. But listening to your channel here keeps me happy. Thank you so very much.
This piece is deceptively difficult and was played perfectly. In Bach's Cantata BWV 140, this is essentially and accompanied choral tenor solo. The walking bass and the upper, in this case trumpet line is tough to keep together. The middle, tenor line often is a duet with the walking bass and is also tough to keep together. Add the trills and this deceptively easy piece can come apart. This performance is perfect! Completely perfect! This was a thrill to hear! Thank you!
Much appreciated Bill, you're clearly familiar with not only the piece but the structure and the challenges presented. Kudos to you and glad to hear you enjoyed our recording :)
Happy Wednesday Peeps! Hope you enjoy the second version of this awesome trio of Bach's "Wachet Auf!" arranged for you by Drew Fennell. As always, don't forget to show love & support by sharing this video, leaving a comment below and giving a thumbs up. Sheet Music in two keys, transposing parts and backing tracks are available for download at www.matonizz.com/product/wachet-auf/ Have a great rest of the week everyone!
Greetings from Colombia, South America. I remember my mom's first words on musical appreciation: How many instruments are playing? And which are those? Excellent and creative way to connect the music sheet and the instruments. CONGRATS !!
I've got an Idea for a great Music Piece. Ist Called "Pezi's Tenorhorn 2.0" from Viera Blech (Martin Scharnagl). This Could be an Interesting Challenge for you :)
