Just picked up 2011 Ranger 4x4 Sport. 94k on it. Dealer says Rangers coming back in 2020 ..Being I'm retired I drive like 6 k a year. I know the Rangers coming back will be pricey. I was told they stopped making them cause F-150 had similar characteristics..Got the extended warranty etc.. Was driving a 99 4x4 Ranger so technology has come around..
There is a switch on the dash. 4 High is shift on the fly, 4 low the truck has to be in neutral. The transfer case is an electric shift Borg-Warner 1354. The FX4 Level II had the same transfer case but its an manual shift with a pull lever.
