    As a single mom who just got her first ever charcoal BBQ, THANKYOU!! I have never used a charcoal BBQ myself before, so am trying to learn how & your vid is really REALLY helpful!
    First I need to figure out how to "burn the factory chemicals off" like the instructions say 🤦‍♀️ then I'll be grilling!

    That's the best video I've ever seen about the 17.5 in Grill from Walmart. How you place the charcoal explained where the vents are and grilled to Perfection the chicken is every man's dream. You truly can make a $20 Grill a masterpiece

    Walmart has a grill for $100, square model with an adjustable crank for the coal bed. Used it 100 times and it's stable- that's all you need. Save your money on the grill and use it for quality coal I started using Jealous Devil coals- they get hot and last a good 1.5 -2 hours

    • @samstaygrillin6029

  • @Mixwell1983

    I knew my man was talking legit the way he placed the vent opposite the coals. I had an offset before moving and now got a pellet grill, gas grill and an electric vertical smoker but i been tempted to get a cheap little charcoal grill.
    I wouldn't put it on my wooden deck but a small one like this i could put it out front in the driveway.

    Going through your videos for some recipes.
    Have you done any charcoal reviews? I bought cowboy brand ones and they are fine but being new to charcoal grilling I wanna know the one that gives the most flavor

    • @samstaygrillin6029

      Top vent was open during the whole cook. Took about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    • @samstaygrillin6029
      @samstaygrillin6029  4 месяца назад +1

      Start off with some hot charcoal on one side and nothing on the other side. I usually cook them until almost done on the charcoal side- then transfer them to the other side and let them finish

    I want to buy this grill but the bad reviews says that it doesn't get any airflow so it doesn't get hot and when you close the lid the fire basically goes out. Is this true? Should I buy this grill?

    • @ElProfeMoto
      @ElProfeMoto Год назад +2

      False. I had this grill and even made ribs in it!!! Go get it!!!

    • @ElProfeMoto

      I also cooked picanha in the round grill from Walmart. It is 14 inches in diameter ! And I was able to cook it to perfection. That’s a $15 grill.

    • @ElProfeMoto
      @ElProfeMoto Год назад +1

      Quality is not top notch obviously but if you know your stuff you won’t have any issues at all!!!

    • @samstaygrillin6029
      @samstaygrillin6029  Год назад

      This grill gets good airflow. I cook on it indirect. Charcoal on one side and meat on the other. And just leave the vent open over the meat. That's how u get your airflow

    You put the sauce on then immediately flipped it so the sauce drips down on the coals? shouldn't you have just left the cover on for a few mins to let the sauce ingrate on the chicken. Then flip and re-sauce the other side and close lid. then boom, donzo.
