If you want to save stacked items that are shown in Glitch #1, you have to put the Black Hole over it before you save. The rest I showed is save-safe.

There's a faster and easier way to make a black hole.
Make 99 Tracks with hard blocks, then put a big thwomp on a track piece. Then copy a Track with a hard block, remove the track from the thwomp. Then press undo, then copy the thwomp 35 Times.

@@realVGC I don't keep those levels thou. I take snapshots of possibilities. I did delete the black hole to keep the giant cloud and clone car glitch level in coursebot.
Also @@realVGC on glitch #2 you showed in the video, instead of using a big bowser and use a big goomba, koopa, etc, you can make a medium clone car, it will not be a 3x3 thou as its a 3x4.

How do people discover these things? Like “haha yah I was just tryna create a bunch of tracks and then I accidentally put 35 thwomps on the stage and whoops black hole glitch”
People already knew that 35 stacked thwomps were a black hole, so we just needed a way to stack them

It's actually a very big revelation that there's a way to save black hole glitched levels. It used to say the level was corrupted and wouldn't save. So props to whoever figured it out!
With door duplication, truly randomized "Pick a Path" levels are finally possible!

Gamefan412 apparently not. According to gpb, psycrow and some others found a way to upload stuff affected by black holes glitch.

FMK actually found it out: That you can‘t copy them and that you have to put a black
hole over it to save a stacked item

A warning to everyone: Make sure you try to save your level after making a stage with a glitch. Here's why:
Ok. So, one glitch you didn't cover in the video was the ability to have the moon in the day stages and vice versa through the black hole glitch. However: After making an entire stage around this premise (I forgot if I also used other black hole related glitches) I tried to save the stage. The game refused to save it, saying that the game data was corrupted. I didn't even get the chance to play test it. I tried deleting the sun (that I had in a night stage) but it still said the data was corrupted. I lost the entire level I spend a few solid hours on.
So, in short, try testing to see if the game will let you save a glitch first before you make a stage around it and lose all you work.
That‘s a good advise. I made many levels and always saved and made backups every minute.
Also, if it was still corrupt, that means that you had something different that was glitched. Make sure to NOT copy the black hole
wouldnt it be great if nintendo actually let us have this level of customization without crazy glitches? lol

@@d3v1nitif73 Yup, and that's the sad part. Well SMM2 gave us alot more stuff to toy with it also fails to just give us a "I'm not a stupid 10 year old" mode where we have complete freedom.
They removed stacking pipes just because there were 2 of 100‘000 people that used that to troll people...
@@d3v1nitif73 actually, i think they removed it because they cause the "level corrupt" failsafe.
that failsafe *really* shows how limited the editor really is.
While I think these glitches are amazing, they do compromise the experience. I mean, if I had spent one hour looking for a P-Switch door, only to find out that a regular door takes me through it, I'd feel cheated.

I would like to point out that these kinds of levels using glitches can and might be deleted. I wouldn't report any of them but still be careful gamers.

This seems like Nintendo's software testers are pretty good, but their software developers are absolute garbage. The fact that a big bug like this takes such a super complicated setup means that they have checked quite a lot of easier things against bugs. But the fact that about a million completely unrelated things break with this glitch means that the code must be horrible.
Well, this setup is easier than the SMM1 setup, but only because you can still copy tracks with blocks, even with a full limit.
Hey man, I've seen CarlSagan42 play some of your glitched levels. I'd like to know how you managed to make snakes,, vines, pipes etc cross their own path, it's actually amazing the many uses it could have ! Does it involve black hole too ?

Yes, but only glitched items that are shown in the ‚Global Overloading‘ section are possible to clone; Items that think they‘re on a track/in a pipe / in a claw /in a clowncar

stacking the ground for 65 seconds will make my level stuck corrupted, even if i delete it, the ground comes back. and it doesnt go away.
You need to delete the Ground Tiles before you hit play. Or if you want to save with the ground tiles still in the level, put a Black Hole over it. You can save after deleting the Ground Tiles, though.

You can just place 99 hard blocks on tracks and one thwomp and just PLACE new thwomps on top of each other for glitch #1

To be honest some of these things should be something you can do normally, like stacked burners (obviously would have a different texture) stacked pipes, stacked fire bars, etc.

I uploaded about 7 levels with this, and after the 7th got deleted, they told me that I could get banned when I do this again. When a few levels already got deleted, make sure to delete the levels after 24 hours to keep you save ^^

Another way to set up glitch #1: put 99 hard blocks on tracks and then place a thwomp on tracks. Copy one of the blocks and then remove the track on the thwomp. Erase the blocks on tracks and copy the glitched thwomp 35 times. The glitch works in 3d world but you need to use pipes instead of tracks.
It‘s not savable with your method, but if you don‘t want to save the Black Hole, sure, why not

It‘s all about experimenting with already known glitches and weird stuff
I had an idea for a level where you need a red coin to get in a door but the red coin is phaseable (if that’s a word) and you need to find the actual one somewhere down the level
That‘s a great idea! However, I wouldn‘t use red coins for that, since you‘d have to collect the phasable one too. But your idea is amazing

Did you everything like I did? Because when you copy the thwomps, you won't be able to save. And make sure to delete all tracks with blocks first.

A door with multiple exits? I would expect mario maker to crash

You don‘t need to copy the thwomps, you need to copy the tracks with the blocks on it. Like shown in the video

When I try to copy the last hard block on the first one, it doesn't let me. Is anyone else having this problem?
Edit: I was trying to multigrab the block on the track, you copy the track itself
squorsh I tried to copy the track itself. Doesn't work. It doesn't let me bypass the object limit, no matter what I do. Followed everything step by step.
Edit: It worked. I was assuming it wouldn't, because I tried the other setups and they didn't work for some reason, even though I did everything correctly.

It shouldn't be corrupted, but when the Black Hole disappears, just multiselect the area where it was.

There is an easyer way for the black hole glitch. Its kinda the same, exept that you have 99 blocks on tracks and one big thwonm. you hae to copy the thwomp 30 times after removing the track and undoing
