Could you explain it a little bit more on the following. I bought it but couldn't understand the manual.
1) Channel 5 to RC switch. I presume channel 5 needs to be assigned to one of those 3 levels switch. Stabilize, manual and RTH is automatically assigned right? Because there is no connect to iNav
2) whether Stabilise mode or Manual, wait for GPS to register, correct? And that will be indicated by the Red light going stable and on.
3) It the power from the FC enough to drive the DJI Vista? Or do I connect the DJI Vista directly to the batt?

yes Ch5 for flight modes
after all GPS sats are locked, then you can unlock motor and fly stabilized else you can fly manual always
I do not have dji systems, so can't say how to connect

Meanwhile, I contacted their teach support and received help from them.
Apparently, for Crossfire, it is Channel 6! It is not on any of the manuals. Hence I am putting it down here in case someone encountered the same issue as I did.
Also, for the Aux, it is Channel 7.
Hope that is helpful for someone.

its all in the manual, you must be doing something wrong. or maybe your connections are not right so delta setup is not working. I will try to do a tutorial if i find time.

hello i have the sparrow 2 my transmitter has just been set up the delta wing rolls and up down is okay if i switch on the giro up and down okay but left and right is wrong can you help me have almost tried everything
you have to set it in your gyro (Flight controller) to reverse it. not the radio
and how do you do that because the elevator is doing well but the alleron is not going wrong

Alishanmao... thanks for the videos and all the work you put in.. QUESTION, im quiet new to sport ... i have the sparrow and installation seems pretty strait forward .. HOWEVER i am not sure how to set up the 3 position switch on my tx16s .. using open TX..... i dont know how to and what each position will do if i flick though it , also can you change the order of what each position will do? can you please break it down for us or perhaps do a brief video ? thank you in advance
just make sure the 3 position switch is set on right channel number. after that you just have to figure out which position does what. you can't change that.
@@alishanmao thanks ali... i was just not sure what the default settings maybe for the switch ... also i noticed you have no throttle control on one of the positions when the model is on the ground , would that be because it has to be at altitude .. so that maybe the RTH function? also silly question but which way should the gps tag be facing as not sure what way side of it to mount it ? thanks as ever ( ps in case of any confusion i am using Version 1 which is pretty much the same i believe

no app and you can't do any such thing unless you are an electronics engineer who can change things at hardware level. then you just better make a new flight controller
Assalamualaikum Sir. If you switched to RTH, what is the perimeter and altitude when it circles the gps point. Like the ZOHD Kopilot, it circles at 90 meters diameter at 60 meter altitude. What about this sparrow?

Dear AlishanMao! I have a question. Lefei sparrow v2 is f4 or f3 flight controller? on this fc can you fly far or only near short distances?
i do not think its F4 or F3. its their own controller. you can fly long distance. it will RTH right. just that it has no OSD

I'm fixing to put this in my mini katana from precision aerobatics when I left off that's it of course I will check surface movements but once it's in the air I hope everything goes as well do you trust it?
Hello Jason, what flight controller is that? no matter how old, it should work. you just make sure to trim out the plane in manual mode so if anything goes wrong, you switch to manual mode and land the plane. i have many old flight controllers but they work just fine. :) if you set them up right.

yes, but you must set failsafe in your radio and rx. for safety reasons.

whatever the plane is flying at it will return at that alt. but if lower altitude, i believe it will climb to certain height

How would you connect a crossfire nano receiver if it only has 3 wires/pins. Or even an R9 receiver to this system? Did you ver do a follow up video for this system to show the fpv set up? Keep up the good work.

To add to Ali's reply, this FC has no connect to your comp. Only thing that you can adjust is the sensitivity knob on it. That's all.

@@alishanmao maybe but it is not clear what comes with the unit as seen on aliexpress. It should come with FC,GPS and special cable harness to connect PWM. They should picture of all but do not list it.

I think so, I can’t see any AV in or out for the fpv camera and vtx. It only has the DJI plug in. But it still looks like a good option if u ever go digital.
well i have not decided to go digital until now and i am actually happy. because FPV Is getting just boring day by day hahahah. maybe my taste is changing. I like more to fly LOS now.

It’s more enjoyable when u have someone else to fly with and if u have pan and tilt setup to look around mid flight also makes it better.

before arming the motor, you can hold the aileron or elevator to their max for 2 seconds or more and it will reverse the servo. so never hold the aileron and elevator for more than 2 seconds before arming the motor when testing. because it will reverse the servos

yeah many companies have their own versions
The V1 version of the Sparrow was/is the cheapest (but had stiff wires and only allowed PWM receiver use) the Kopilot Lite sells for about $50 (allows PWM and S-bus receivers) this costs about $65 with the GPS unit and wires but has DJI connectivity and PWM, PPM and S-bus receiver inputs. On the minus side this loses the ability to use different gains on the aileron and elevator stabilization. They all work pretty well (if set up right!) - check if this uses the older Sparrow stiff wires. They had a habit of cracking the socket to board soldering in a crash.
