No problem like I said just make sure you servos are going the right way Launch in stable mode at 80% throttle when u get up to the height u want to be at drop the throttle down to 50% Make sure ur flying at a big field as for landing I normally coast in at 20 to 30 and when the plane is about level with my head I shut the throttle off and last. Make a video and post it so any mistakes we can see and help fix
Some questions: 1: when you arr on RTH mode, can you manually control the throttle? 2: which switch are you using on tx for changing modes RTH, fence etc. 3: how failsafe works? If you go out of signal , it will automatically turn back to home? Sorry for the questions, im new and so confused about flight controllers
1 from what i heard it manages the throttle for you BUT i always have my throttle at least half so i know for sure its getting throttle 2 i use a 3 position switch setup on channel 5 (can be any 3POS) 3 yes if you set up failsafe in you TX when you lose signal it should turn around and head home TEST IT OUT BEFORE YOU HEAD OUT and enjoy
I am dumb as nails but my advice wait for all go GPS lock send it click rth and make sure wing immediately begins to head home, most failsafe systems are designed to not engage when not armed. I'm installing one tonight and thanks for the look over my manual reads a lil differently but I'll let ya know how she goes and if it's the same for me I expect it will be and should work great just picking a wing.... lol 👍
Ivan, you mention in the video to set rtl or Geofence by turning the knob. Do I understand correctly, you can have either rtl or geofence, but not both?
if you turn the knob all the way to the right(pass the 3rd line) you only have RTH and anything starting from the left up to the 3rd line on the knob is Geo fence which is 35 meters to 300 Meters and when you hit the fence she will turn around But unlike RTH you will still have control If you don't touch the sticks she should fly straight back to you but remember Geo is not RTH
Make sure your above the tree lines but if your looking for both then have Geo fence on Fly in manual or Stabilization and when you know you out pass the Geo fence flick it in to that mode and she should turn around Enjoy
@@Mrfunkyfpv I have a sparrow m7 fc with GPS. I have it installed put on switch c 3 position. Switch in middle all works. Top and bottom no. I'm not sure if it correctly working. Hesitant to fly, till I'm sure. Thank you for responding
@@wadedittus3552 in top or bottom modes do the servos move at all. By lifting the plane and just moving it around then it is working u just have no throttle because the plane is not moving forward
Make sure you have it outside to get a GPS fix you should always have throttle in manual mode make sure you cables coming from the GPS is plugged all the way in to the sparrow unit
@@JohnnyrcNigeria when the ESC is done Beeping after 1 minute should have a lock on some SATS (it automatic locks home position each time you put in a new battery) When in the air flick in to RTH and the plane will come back and circle If you want to test put the plane on the Ground flick to RTH and you should see the alierions and elevators start twitching like crazy back and forth
It’s been a while since I used the FC if I remember I had to make a failsafe setting on my radio. But if u can I would strongly upgrade to the new sparrow osd version 3
@@dayyanhanif8493 I dont but it’s pretty simple the 4 wire white cable ( channel 1234 ) plugs in the rx u are using and the 3 wire plugs in to channel 5 on ur rx
@@AeroStuffFPV it depends on how you set it up If you set up failsafe with the knob to the right then only RTH If you set it up with the knob half way then Unless your passed the Fence mode limit then it would kick in BUT in fence mode you still have control

Yes everything is working to RTH you must be in the air moving and waita few minutes before you launch just so you know you have some SATs she automatic locks home after a few Sats

when in doubt there is a group of us on RCgroups but i normally wait 5 minuts before i take off on a 8000mah i have time and so far she comes back

My GPS don't seem to work
Just manual mode works
Others don't work and no throttle

If you lose contact with the radio control, does it go into rth mode or just on the key?

@@Mrfunkyfpv Nope. Barometer on the board - needs it for the "Altitude Hold" mode when no GPS installed.🙂

Then watch the video I linked on how to have manual at the to stab in the middle and RTH on the bottom

Just setup in fence mode and you willl be fine so if you passed 300m it would come back
