I was not expecting this to get so deep, but I loved every second of it!
Mysterious figure chasing Charlie away from the Nuka-World files, possibly the same one who attacked Frank underwater; West-Tek was involved in Nuka Gold somehow... Are we about to meet the descendants of the hyperintelligent squirrels that first convinced West-Tek that they had a super-soldier serum in FEV?

@@animewarrior3 Yeah, when West-Tek was looking for a cure for the New Plague, they used the FEV formula on a pair of experimental squirrels - which became stronger, faster, and intelligent enough to talk a researcher into releasing them into a field. W-T fired the researcher, then read his notes and decided they'd stumbled upon a way to make super-soldiers. Unfortunately, it reduced the intelligence of their human subjects while wildly increasing their aggression, giving us Super Mutants.
@@DeaconBlues117 speaking of. Is there any information on how some super mutants keep their intelligence? Or, possibly, get more so? Or just like, ransom chance.

The only smart Super Mutants we meet are the Master and his LT in the first game, who barely understand how it evrn happened to them; Fawkes in 3, who never knew why he kept his mind while the other subjects didn't; and Dr. Virgil in 4, who used a proprietary formula that he doesn't discuss (especially if you blow up the Institute).

@@damianwilson2744 West-Tek, for example, had a pharmaceutical division. They were researching a potential cure for the New Plague when they stumbled across FEV. It made experimental animals stronger, faster, and more intelligent (two squirrels talked a researcher into releasing them); West-Tek thought it had found a super-soldier serum and began human experimentation at Mariposa AFB (in association with the DoD). Their experiments only ever produced classic Super Mutants, although when Richard Grey was exploring the Glow (the former LA-area West-Tek HQ that received a direct hit from a nuke and scattered FEV around the region) he fell into a vat that turned him into the Master, and he was able to engineer a variant that produced his Lieutenant, the First Generation of Super-Mutants, and the Nightkin. He expelled the failures, who began gathering humans and taking them to the Master for transformation (they all became the Super Mutants we know and mildly fear today).
On the East Coast, the West-Tek facility in West Virginia developed new strains of FEV, which they used in experiments in their labs and in a Vault-Tec-constructed underground lab in Maryland. That gave us the orange-tinted Super Mutants in the Capital Wasteland, as well as the more-intelligent green monstrosities roaming Appalachia. (West-Tek was also responsible for things like the snallygasters and Grafton monsters, but that's another story.) It's speculated that the Institute reverse-engineered a sample of the West Virginia FEV for their own series of experiments, the source of Super Mutants in the Commonwealth.

I guess the test subject was more of an avid nuka cola fan than Charlie. Even strong enough to knock out Frank, who by the way is in POWER ARMOR and in underwater, which slows anything down inside of it. The test subject seems INSANELY strong and fast to have done that. Either that or some other character we don’t know about.

@@animewarrior3 All an EMP would do is shut down the suit unless it also had a concussive force to it. Judging by how Charlie reacted, one can reasonably assume no EMP type weapon was used.
I can take a guess it's something involved with lights because he got scared because he only has his head lamp

I think I have a bead on Charlie's SPECIALs. Good agility as shown with his use of that revolver, stupid high Charisma and luck, both I assume to be capped. And moderate int and preception as he makes bombs and can reverse engineer chemical compounds. ESPECIALLY anything dealing with Nuka Cola

ok yeah, saw the shorts and had to come over to see the full video, 10 BoS power armor, 5 unidenfitied combat armor wearing dude(not counting them as one side or the other since we dont know who they are with) and 2 ranger..thinking more and more their dad is THE Courier 6..

Is Charlie a ghoul under that armor? Is Frank a ghoul? They both get away with some crazy shit. This question has been bugging me. I love these two so very much
@@beanmachine917 in a past episode they discussed radiation, specifically having a joke that Charlie in particular had a near immunity to radiation because he built a resistance to it from the nuka colas. From that knowledge, we can assume neither are ghouls since radiation is apparently a concern
