Because Sean would've helped Spinner if Jay wasn't a bad influence on both of them. I don't get that either and I find it very weird that they didn't interact in season 4 right after the shooting. But Sean did all of us a favor by getting rid of Rick forever even though it wasn't intentional anyways. Yeah it was just the luck of the draw.

I wish that Sean had in Bust A Move in season 7. I always wished that Jimmy and Sean grew closer since they made peace in season 3 Take On Me so how or why they didn't cross paths I will never understand.
