i have understood that to get immo off(bypass) we cut the grren wire and connect it to the green/white

Have you tried moving the code ring around the key barrel closer to the key? Renault clio 2001, has problem that the RF "range" is not enough. Loosened code ring and moved it closer to the key electronics and that seems to work, Have not found a better solution yet. Still have to remove the immobilizer box and trouble shoot.

Haven't thought of that. However in this case the issue seems related to the box, since disconnecting the battery fixes it for a while.

I tried the code ring first but think it is box related as the supply voltage to the code ring seemed a bit low. Your fix might work but it's a daily driver so will have to leave it for now. Symptoms sound like a bad cap in DC-DC converter startup delay circuit.

Vanette 2001. The immo light turns on automatically after a while while the engine is running. When the ignition is turned off and on again, the light does not go out and the engine does not work. It goes back to normal when you disconnect and plug in the battery. But the same problem persists. Several times a day. I applied the method in the video. But the problem continues. Do you have any other solution suggestions?

Is that anything to do Nissan King-Cab diesel pump? because i change everything on the another King-Cab same year, all these have same code/serial numbers incl.diesel pump whereby i driving it before i remove those to on my car (key, ignition switch, ecu, immobilizer system) still no go? Do i need to replace a diesel pump too?

will this work on a nissan maxima or cefiro A32?

I have test solution. But in my case med ECU antitefth over diesel pump no +12v. I have remove cover around diesel pump and connect direct k15+12v over solenoid diesel pump. And vanette start with nats disconnected.

I'm almost wondering if crudd in the keyway made this issue... i mean after so many years the crudd in the keyway would build up preventing that ocilation thingy ma-bob not preform as it should? ( i'm just throwing an idea out... i'm not an expert in cars )

It's unlikely, since these systems work on RF. Usually, the coil in the key isn't physically connected to anything, it just acts like an antenna tuned to the frequency of the box. When the key is inserted (or close to the keyway), the signal put out by the immobiliser gets loaded down by the coil in the key, and the immobiliser detects that change in load.

Odd that, it's almost like the box goes mad and outputs crap data and upsets the main security/engine computer.
You clever devil, a box reset every time :-D

Cool. Now I know how to steal late-90's early-00' Nissans.
    Thanks! : P

Alas, it doesn't bypass the key coil check. I wish it did, but you still can't start without a programmed key.

It seams the red LED only comes on when the key is on RUN and the car hasn't started. It would have been a good indicator if you left the IGN on by mistake.

No, it comes on even if you drive away.

Just don't forget to put in a secret immobiliser switch somewhere, you never know, you may have started a spate of nissan van thefts... :P

My secret kill-switch has saved my car from being stolen twice.

In Gemany, it would be totally illegal to mess around with the immobilizer system like that - even if it still works after the hack (meaning, it still only starts with the programmed key and not with a screw driver). The reasoning behind that is: Your insurance wouldn't pay if the vehicle gets stolen and the thief caused an accident, becaue it might not have been stolen with the immobilizer in stock condition. I think that's stupid.

Same in the UK. Any modification from factory specification will invalidate the insurance unless it has been agreed with the insurance company.

i rather have a van that works and risks that someone doesn't want a 17 year old van
i think that this is a 10000 to 1 chance fully acceptable and have a van that starts every time, also avoid breathing diesel fumes at all costs or hold your breath if you smell diesel fumes and run for clear air every time you in the opposite direction these fumes contain small particulates that log deep in your lungs that the cillia cant get out when you cough
think of the this air your giving the your friend pedestrians on the street every time you go past them , its like your a non caring criminal in each separate infraction of every single pedestrian, extremely harmful in city driving to others, so you saved half price at the pumps but your a guilty bio driver as charged, keep this in mind when you turn your key !
