YOU GOT THIS ANGIE!! you've already gotten through the worst of the worst (corporate hell) and i have faith that u will be successful in whatever u choose to do next :D im in high school and you really inspire me to go for what i truly want and not what society deems respectable/other people want for me. please keep making content, ILY 💖
Hi Angie! Thank you so much for posting this video. I hustled my way into Management Consulting at a Big4 - it was the best I was able to find at the time. I then went to work at a startup, and honestly, I'm just thinking of quitting without any back-up plan. You are so brave for doing it, I'm scared of the current job market. All props to you ✨ 💗
hey angie, im a first gen college grad with immigrant parents. can definitely relate to your story. right after grad i broke into management consulting but now my story is focused on what makes me happy. best of luck with finding your passion and successes in life :)
Bless your heart, wish the best for you in 2024❤❤❤ SO you are not working for that job anymore? You had a really cool jobs in my eyes but it can affect alot of daily balance. Everything is always better than the last year❤ Life is beautiful and we should be able to enjoy more. Your body just was really tired and drained from the rough jobs… I dont have a career or a path yet, Im still searching but hope everything will work out with everyone
i no longer work there i quit about 6 months ago haha. the job did have its ocassional challenges that i enjoyed but for the most part it no longer served me or my goals anymore. wishing the best for your 2024 too ily! we will slowly figure things out
Omg can't wait for the travel vlogs 💜I started watching you maybe 2-3 vlogs before you quit and omg I am so happy for you because that job looked so draining. I'm excited to see what you accomplish in the new year!
Hey enjoyed your videos. I heard purpose in job being lacking - why you not try your handle in consulting with focus on climate change financing and policy ? Just my 2 cents. 😊
i don't! it was the best decision I've ever made, and i say this because I've taken the time to think about my goals and actually have the energy to work towards that direction now. During my unemployment, I got the chance to travel a bit more, got to network with people outside of the finance industry, had time to research different career paths, start personal projects, and explore creative pursuits : ) sometimes i do catch myself wondering how it would have been if I had stayed one or two more years. But then I remind myself that during my time in that environment, I operated like a zombie every day and was stagnant in terms of personal growth. Ultimately, leaving was the best decision for my overall well-being and future prospects!
Angie, I can understand the tough and confusing pieces of finding your identity. BUT LISTEN you need Jesus! The identity of a painting is the creator and it is the same with us humans! give Jesus a try and see how your mental health and even identity and so much more is changed! Jesus is waiting for you to come to him and he has a plan for your life. ❤ jesus loves you!

Genuine question, but now that you have had some time to ruminate on everything, do you regret leaving investment banking?
