- Today's video is such a special one for us! It was so nice to be able to ask my parents these questions and share their responses with you. We hope and pray that this can be an encouragement to you and your family today.
This channel is about our daily life raising our 2 boys and our daughter who has Down Syndrome.
When we first found out about Eva's diagnosis we couldn't find many RUclips channels from families in the same situation, which is why we decided to start this channel.
We are just a simple, average family sharing the joys (and sometimes the challenges) that raising a child with Down Syndrome have brought to our life!

That was a beautiful video. God gave Eva to a wonderful, loving family. I can relate to everything being said in this video. My family went through the same thing when my niece was born. That was 35 years ago. First I cried for my sister for a day and then I met my niece. Then I felt guilty for crying. We all love "Amber" so much and could not imagine life without her. Thank you for sharing. Love to you all.

Been a big fan a long time and haven't just watched your videos but I have really really listened through all the nervous video times and worry. Yourself and Ben from the start and you both have always pursued being the best Advocates you could be for Eva and parents just getting this Diagnosis. Congrats, boy have you succeeded. This needs to be a video in a packet given to all parents and families from day one or a DVD when they leave the hospital so they do not feel the fear and loneliness you felt. WOW, Bravo guys, this is a gem here.

So true. Scared when heard the diagnosis.... fear coz we don’t know what’s it’s gonna be ....there are many wrong diagnosis initially and then you found out healthy .... that was hope and believe but we were 100 % sure whatever come out we gonna face it and do whatever we can. A parents and families love to their children genuinely and unconditionally. Love each other is all we need in this life.
This was absolutely delightful. So much unconditional love and one very special little girl with awesome siblings and family.

I told God many many years ago to bless me with a child like Eva. I adore Down syndrome for they give such love to this world. They are a blessing and they are also adorable. I follow our Eva and many others on Instagram. There seems to be more on that platform. Also Sarah, look into Rory Feek. I was a huge fan of him and his now deceased wife Joey. They were a country duo and when she was pregnant, they decided to take a year off from performing to spend time with their child. They had Indiana who has Down Syndrome. After his wife passed away, 😥😥😥. He raised this child so so beautifully. They have a farm house and his sisters live on either side of them. He then built a one room schoolhouse on his farm. It’s amazing. Check out his RUclips channel. So nice to see you all and your parents. Xoxo

So beautiful! Our special little girl named Mila is 4 weeks today! I was struggling so much the whole pregnancy but when I saw her all the bad thoughts went away!

I had a challenged cat and he'd have siezures and he was really small. He was the size of a 3 week old kitten forever and mentally a kitten. I actually loved him more and I felt more bonded to him. I actually felt sorry bad for him and I didn't know how long I'd have him with all his disabilities. 😭It was super sad. special needs children are usually very sweet. They don't know what it's like to be emotionaly nuerotypical. The world hadn't destroyed them. They'll come up and give a complete stranger hugs and kisses and not stop.

i can certainly relate to the grandparents! My granddaughter Josephine , who also has DS, is now 11 months old. She has brought so much joy to our lives!! I always tells people that she has an extra chromosome of happiness inside of he!!!

Hi Rachel! Yes they are my parents 🥰 We would love to ask Ben's parents the same questions as well! I think they are just a little more shy being filmed and having their faces online...but I hope to get to share their thoughts at some point too❤️
@@OurExtraGiftthey seem like wonderful people Eva is lucky to have such wonderful grandparents. I just lost my Grandmother she was 97 and had Alzheimer's lost her last month. She was my everything my whole world I miss her so much 💗
My mother said she hated people with DS. She was mean.
I really dislike the use of phrases like "I really started notices THEM" Down Syndrome children are not "thems". We are all human beings regardless of our diagnosis. I'm sorry if I sound picky but the use of "them" to me is very disrespectful & sounds as though their almost alien or something. I don't doubt the grandparents love towards Eva one bit mind. I'm not suggesting that at all.
