I love the flower grouping. The colors are wonderful. I enjoy the Bible Journaling, as I have just started the art journaling. I like the ideas you give as I'm trying to combine my Scrapbooking, stamping, and card making as well as my journaling. The message of this lesson fits my life right know and the passed 6 months. Thank you☺️🛐
I enjoyed the process of creating this page and learned a few things the sticker trick with powder AWESOME I had never heard that must give it a try I have wanted to use stickers where it hangs off but don't want to cut it so thank you for sharing this. God bless and have a beautiful week.
i know these pens don't bleed thru bible pages per se, but i've found using clear gesso on the page before coloring allows for a smoother surface for blending quickly with a waterbrush. using a heat tool between layers keeps the stazon and pitt inks from smearing and i seem to use less ink as well. love the ombre effect.
This is a beautiful page. I took Copic coloring classes from an expert colorist last year so I have a nice collection of them. I was trying to decide if I wanted to start investing in the Faber Castell Pitt Artist pens. Now I see that they are very beneficial because they don't bleed through. Thank you for taking the time to share the color families you used. Blessings and Happy Crafting, Denise
Thanks! I liked that you could buy the finer tip in big box sets but I think I'll be getting the big ones as well since they are easier to use on stamps.
I just ordered these markers and was searching for ways to use them and came across your video. :) I didn't know you created this video until now! The verse is perfect for what I want to journal about right now as well. Thanks for sharing!
I notice you use what looks like a hairdryer as your heat tool. Do you find that works just as well? Also, have you ever tried using copic markers on your bible? Do they work well?
Hello Jillsky I'm addicted to those silly things! I splurged and used a gift card at Christmas to get one of the big sets but now I feel like I need the big ones to use with stamps 🙈
Lindsey, do you also use Tombo markers? I was wondering if you have compared the two. Just trying to see why these markers might be better for your bible over the Tombo brush markers.
Hi Lindsey! I am so addicted to your videos. My husband cringes everytime he hears me watching one because he knows it means a trip to Hobby Lobby is in our near future 😆 I have a question about the Faber Castell Pitt Pen... I used it to retrace the edges of some flowers I painted with water color and it seemed really hard on the tip. Are those pens not made for that or what would you recommend using?
Hahaha I love it 😂 If you are using chalky watercolors it can be hard on your pens but you can quickly wipe them off with a baby wipe and then scribble it until the ink flows again which will keep the end from getting clogged with junk.
If you were starting with f/c Pitt artist pens ...would you buy the box of the fine ones. Or go for the big brush ones. I have the white big brush and one set of Magna ones looking at gift set at Amazon $123 for set of 60
+Ozjane B I think I'd go for the big ones. Even the big ones come to a pretty fine tip if you wanted to do detailed coloring like this. If you are wanting them for small brush lettering than I'd go for the finer tip ones.
This is exactly the verse that I chose to journal at tonight's Bible study! Love the flowers!

I don't know why I hadn't thought of it before either! Love all the brilliant ideas I pick up from others in the journaling community!
Beautiful. I dont bible journal. I came across your page a few times now. And what you do is apsolutely lovely.
Thank you so much! Hopefully you can find inspiration for your own unique projects!

Thanks for the shout out, friend! Adore your coloring! 😍😍😍
Beautiful.....I didn't know that the finer tip Brush pens were available. Love my Big Brush Pitt Markers!

I use the Ranger Heat Tool for drying and embossing. Coptic markers will bleed through terribly since they are alcohol markers.
This is so beautiful! I will definitely try the masking tip.
Absolutely love it
Love your flowers!
So pretty 💕 makes me wanna go grab my markers ☺️

VERY Nice! 💛💚💙 Thank you 😊

+Stacy Smith I haven't tried them, I feel like I've heard that they bleed but I can pick up some to try 😊
LindseyDecor I would appreciate that. You seem to always have great information about what will bleed or smear easily when it comes to inks.
Love the highlighting trick
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I’m late to the party, but this is beautiful. Also, thanks for the reminder to use my Pitt pens. I forget about them.
How long does the faber castell last before they start getting fuzzy!? Are they worth the money to collect them?
I’ve had mine for a couple years and have only replaced one 😉
Omg this is so beautiful 😍
I like the stamping better ,it's not so messy.
Beautiful!
Do you gesso before using these pens and stamps?
Nope, I rarely gesso.
You hardly gesso ever or just with these pens?
I don't use gesso in general unless it's a product I know will bleed a lot. These pens don't bleed unless you go over the same area several times.
Awesome! Thank you! I love your videos and tips! SO HELPFUL!!
Beeeeeeeeautiful! Love it
