I sooo appreciate your reviews... BUT you totally forgot to mention that the nibs in these pens can be pulled out with a pair of tweezers and flipped around. When your nibs begin to fray, give yourself a brand new one! A very important feature of these pens, IMO. Also remember to store them horizontally. Thanks, Amanda!
wow thank you! I didn't know that you can just change the nib so easily! I'm glad I haven't thrown my pens away. Thank you!
Wow thank you so much for this very important detail 💙
Thanks for the tip! I have black ones for line and wash art pieces. Even though none of my have frayed yet , I was kinda bummed when she said they were not good because I really like the ones I bought.
You can flip the tip of these pens if the pen is frayed
I LOVE that these pens use archival ink. I find that ink leaves a very crisp image as I letter and knowing the ink will not fade over time is a good thing.
I have a love-hate relationship with these brush pens because they fray so quickly... Yes, I can flip the nib, but still fray too quickly. I do appreciate that the name of the colour is on the barrel. The soft brush ones are even harder for me to control. But I love the colors. I have almost all of them, but don’t reach for them often. Great 👍🏼 review as usual! Thank you 🙏
I've learne more in one vid than ever over the last year. Thanks SO much. Well done ✨
Wow! Thank you for making this video! I really wanted an honest review of these! Can you please make a video on the artline stix brush pens?
I totally agree with this review. The pens are about average for lettering in my opinion, but the color options are phenomenal & somewhat unusual, so definitely worth considering.
You are right my black also frayed very earlyyyy
ooh very nice and informative review! As a video request, how about the zig kuretake fudebiyori brush pens? I hear that they are really good for beginners and that they have vibrant colours, but I'm not too sure about how long the nib will last. If you could review them I would really appreciate it! Thank you!
Have you done Aquarelles? So glad for your reviews.
Thank you so much for your honest review ❤❤❤ .. I would buy them for coloring purpose, will it work with me?
Hi! Can you please review the Lyra aqua brush duo? I think they can be a very good option 🤗
Love your videos!!
As someone who is developing migraines with alcohol markers - I 've used them for years, but only recently I noticed this side effect - this ones will become my go to waterproof markers. I tested them, and I personaly enjoyed their performace
I know right! The black color Faber Castell is really a BIG NO NO! I bought 1 and it was already a frayed pen when it came. So I asked for a replacement, it came a liiiiittle bit better than the last one and quickly frayed in a few days. I really appreciate your video because I would never buy a Faber Castell pen since the awful experience I had with the black pen.
!! You can pull the tip out and turn it around to get a fresh tip!!
What paper do you use with these? My mixed media paper has been pilling….
About that black pen, I've had that issue with the black Tombow dual brush pen. I've ordered it twice now and both times it seemed to already be frayed after just writing one word even though I use them on Rhodia paper. I don't have that issue with my other Tombow dual brush pens. But I would love a good black brushpen for larger lettering. Anyone know a good black brushpen for larger lettering?
I recommend the Royal Talent Ecoline brush pen.
quite insightful video
thanks for this review
Yep..these are actually great with the flippable nibs..
I use them for illustration, I guess that drawing is what they were made for, so not really made to withstand such constant intense bounce
Can you do a comparison of metallic pens and markers?
That's a great idea! Thanks so much for the suggestion. I will add that to my list!
@@AmandaArneill surely
Which brush pens are good for beginners..
The Tombow Fudenosuke Hard Tips are great for beginners!
Please review brustro pens 😌😌😌
Please do add gel brush you are so underrated
It is actually India ink, on some pens printed as Indian ink. India ink actually was invented in China.
Hey could you do a review on the Faber castell brush pens. They are the same brand as these ones but cheaper
lol :D That was funny, "... and they do age over time..." Don't we all? :D
hey love your video i would recommend you to try doms .please do a video with doms brush pens please
Nyc
ya know, theres brush, and soft brush. Maybe she was using the soft one.....
I was using the brush (B) ones!
@@iSheree She didn't show the black ones she had no luck with, so maybe they were SB. I've owned these pens for several years, and never encountered problems with the blacks - any of the PITT blacks - and I write with them day in, day out. On another note, you really are rude. Also, don't forget that some people have limited internet access and can't look at HD videos because it eats up their available monthly GB usage.
@@basta.dotto_ I have removed my comment. I was never intending to be rude. Like I said, I am Deaf and have other disabilities so that makes it harder for me to know how to communicate to others. Sorry about that!
