Great video ! I wonder why the illustrated ink pad isn't permanent, because pigment ink is suppose to be a permanent ink. It must be the formula of their ink. I use mostly pigment ink in my art journal and never had a problem. Crazy huh? Keep up the amazing work :D
Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring! I'm new to the Bible journaling world so this was very helpful! I know this was two years ago but I was curious where you got the clear boxes you have the watercolor pencils in?
Gesso does prevent bleed through. The stamps can lose their stickiness but you just need to wash them in warm soapy water and let them air dry and they should be good as new 😉
Lindsey, what is the name of the clear case you keep your Inktense pencils in? Where did you get it? It seems ideal especially with side locks. Love all that you share. Blessings to you and your family, Jo
Great post! I enjoyed watching. I just posted my very first Bible Art Journal. Was so fun and rewarding. Hope you can visit us. If you have - thank you. Crafty love, Flo
Mechanical pencils are so practical. But wondering if they come in different blackness. Like common pencils that are hard (H) or soft (B) in several values from very light grey to very black. Easier to read when the pencil has a very black pin.
Too bad my religious scripture doesnt have a journaling version I have been only highlighting and stickie notes :( I tried doing separate journal I couldnt keep it up
I’ve tried a lot of different watercolors but I’ve never tried that brand. It could either be the watercolor or the manufacturer of your Bible or a combination of both. You can try prepping your pages with gesso or experimenting with a different brand of watercolor. I’ve never had a problem with Prima bleeding

Hi, are there black ones OK for outlining? Thanks !
I’m loving your videos!! Do you remember where you got the watercolor pencil cases? Thanks in advance!!
I got those from Michael’s 😉
Thanks!!
If you used gesso before the permanent stamp ink would that prevent bleed through? Do the acrylic stamps lose there stickiness over time?

Ok great! Thank you for answering all my questions! I'm going shopping tomorrow for my supplies. Can't wait to get started!!

+J McGinnis it's a clear photo box from Michael's. They have two different sizes and I get them in the storage aisle when they have them 40% off.
Very helpful! Thanks and god bless!

Hi Lindsey do you ever do anything about the tabernacle, please let me know, thanks
I haven’t done any tabernacle studies but would be interested in the future.
What do you store those creative retreat kits in? Is it a plastic envelope?

Yes, you can find different lead types for the refills...you might have to look at an office supply store or art supply store to find more variety.
Love it.

you should do a craft room tour!
+Jocelyn Velasquez it's nothing fancy at all 😂 Maybe once it's a little more Pinterest worthy I'll share it lol
My water colors are bleeding through. :0( Any suggestions?
What brand are you using?
They are Field Artist. They are in a little black tin like those Primas you were talking about in your video.
