      Probably the most satisfying and safe way of getting in the best shape of your life as well. Not slaving away at the gym building unnaturally proportioned muscles.
      Through natural movement and long hard work over an extended period, building up every single muscle bit by bit, seeing the fruits of your labour instead of yourself in a mirror with a dumbbell.

      I certainly have been watching that process. I have two grown sons and part of this is just the normal beefing up around age 20. One of my sons is a bodybuilder and it actually takes unbelievable effort over years to build bulk especially on a naturally slim body. Erik works smart, not hard. Sure, he's getting more muscular than if he were a full time video editor.

    Oh my gosh your work on the cabin 🤠 is amazing. You are doing a really great job. So you think you will get the roof on before it snows? You must be building up some big muscles doing all the lifting and scribing. I love your videos and I can't tell you how nice it is to see a young man building how own house at your age. Well done. What an achievement 😉. I am a fifty eight year old grandmother and I watch all the cabin builds on you tube. Your doing a fantastic job be proud. I admit that I almost duck when wood chips fly at the camera when you use that curved blade axe, and if occasionally logs will not cooperate when hauling them up your steps' system I wonder that your audio has no bleeps! I will be interested to see when the door(s) and wndows will be cut into the walls.

    Thanks for interesting and relaxing videos! Do you think you could perhaps in the future make a video about how the scriber works (I think it's called scriber, scribing it is anyway). I don't understand the function of the board on the tree and why it has to be "lodrät"... :-)

    • @ErikGrankvist
      @ErikGrankvist  4 года назад +4

      You have to calibrate the tool. First you decide the length from the lower point up to the pen (how much you want to scribe, "hur brett långdraget blir"). Then you want the two points to be held exactly above eachother when scribing, so that were the lower point is draged is were the line is going when done with the log. How you do that is by calibrating the sprit level "vattenpass" so the bubbles are in the middle when held att the vertical "lodräta" bord. Then when you scribe you just have to look at the bubbles and you know it is held upright. Hope this clears it a bit. It sounds complicated but it isn't really :).

    • @garybaldy2907

    Great progress Erik. I just wanted to ask why did you need that very heavy very long log om the left side of your cabin? Is it maybe for a mezzanine?

      The roof is going to stick out a bit in front of the build.

    I am a new viewer to the channel. I love watching log cabins being built! LOL It pained me a bit to watch the roping of the logs up the ramps because with the addition of a pulley or two that would have been a lot easier!

    I hope you can read English! If you can build that cabin, I suppose you can read English. I have to say your about the strongest man I have ever seen! Strong as two Oxen! And man that’s strong!I would barely be able to pick up that short ax!
