    I really enjoy all your videos and tutorials. I prefer Creative Grid rulers and I’m planning to try Missouri Stars new rotary cutter. I like your chats while teaching. I like your floss tube videos as well, especially because I just started. It would be pretty if you had 2 charms packs and put those in place of the white squares.

    Creative Grids rulers for sure.
    I have been slowly replacing my 20 year collection of mismatch rulers with CG. I donate each old ruler as I replace it to a local charity that teaches people, especially young people, to sew.
    Thanks Hailey for another great quilt pattern.

    Quilters Select rulers are my favorite. They have a frosted backing, which makes them very stable. I've been replacing my Creatve Grids and Omni rulers a few at a time.

    Thank you Hailey. Your quilt looks great. I love Creative Grids rulers too. They are amazing and really help get precise cuts, less slipping and they have the best markings. I didn't think it mattered, but once you try them, you're convinced. I've picked up discounted returned rulers on Amazon whenever I see one I don't have. I like the idea of donating my old ones!

    Lovely quilt!! Ty for the pattern. I love Creative Grids rulers the best. I had a few of the rulers you have and I bought the sticky thingy to put on the bottom of them but they were kinda wobbly so I tried Creative Grids and once I tried Creative Grids rulers, well that's all I buy now. They really are worth it imo 😊

    Thanks so much Hailey! Just found you and have been using my cleaning house time to watch all of the videos that I can!! Really enjoy the way you teach and send tips! I absolutely love the Creative Grids rulers. They are so much easier to use!! I started with one ... and a little bit at a time (like once a year maybe) I'm trying to change my normal (omnigrid) rulers to Creative Grids rulers.

    Thank you Hayley for the tutorial. You can keep those rulers. On the long rulers i put a 5 lb weight (bought at Walmart) at the end of the ruler. I have no issue with shifting. Hope that helps. Learned that from Donna Jordan at Jordan Fabrics.

    Hi Hailey,
    I love your videos and love your creativity and the light that comes from you. You’re a great teacher and it seems like it’s natural for you. Now that I am done with the flattering, lol, I have a request, can you please make a tutorial/video about how to use quilting rulers and everything else that has to do with cutting fabric and measuring it for people like me that are beginners and are lost when it comes to that entire process. I am so afraid of the math portion of quilting because I am a little older and I have been out of school since the early 90s. Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us!

    I switch from creative ruler to select 6 » wide rulers. My brain keeps messing up with the creative ruler with the 1/4 and 1/2 « side. I ruined to many fabric. So now I know 6 » is 6 » inches!

    Tbh, I’m not convinced the endurance blades are any better or that they last any longer!
    As far as rulers, I swear by Quilter’s Select! I have a few creative grids too, but I think the QS stay in place better. And the markings on CG rulers don’t make sense to my brain!

    Isnt it amazing what you can do with a charm pack? Would be nice to see how you quilt this. And yes, I do like your style of video, i have little tolerance for tuition videos which cover what the kids are doing at school, introductions to the family dog, or supposedly funny stories re the cameraman. I think if you’re teaching then teach but if you’re covering general stuff there’s room for chit chat. I guess it’s just a balancing act.

    I also have mostly Omnigrid rulers as that is what I bought when I first started. Don’t like the slipping these rulers cause!! What grippers did you find?? I have tried numerous ones that just don’t stick after a few uses!!! 🥲

    • @HaileyStitches
      @HaileyStitches  10 месяцев назад +1

      I’ve had good luck with the true grips dots but nothing is as good as non-slip ruler!
