I use a similar method to support my Tegimen tent, but I use mini-biners on the ends of the ridge and small S-Biners in the middle. I also use 4 cheap adjustable trekking poles (they were 2 for £10/$13 at my local sports shop) at the 4 corners to support the sides. I invert them and use the mud basket to support the loops. I only ever camp close to the car so the added weight is minimal. If I was going to go further afield on foot, I'd probably cut sticks when I arrive on location, but given my health issues that's unlikely to occur. If I may offer a word of constructive advice, one channel owner to another. Please use an alternative method to shoot and render your videos, one that produces a full frame image. You have a great manner on camera and come across really well. Watching the video using a ninth of the available space isn't great at all, particularly for those of use with bad eyes, and has cost you a like and a potential subscriber. This is the 2nd video of yours that I've tried to watch, and it's very frustrating. All the best for 2022.
Thank you, only recently considered taking content seriously. It's really been just a hobby and for friends and family. I'll look into screen orientation.
I’m gonna be camping in this thing for like 3 months, I’m not using a stove so I was thinking about putting a secondary tarp over the top to increase performance. I’m hoping it will take the brunt of the harsh weather.. would love to see you try and add a tarp over this hammock . I think they should make one, so hopefully it could act like a double ply tent
Great ideas! Great content. One thing, please record in landscape and NOT in portrait... Keep the awesome content coming
