Watch the Proclaimers singing this live like at Aid for Africa or at an outdoor arena in Edinburgh. The crowd sings and jumps up and down with enthusiasm like an AC/DC concert.
Hi! I just found your channel from your reaction to Aurora and I have to say I just love your personality and your voice it feels like I’m listening to a friend❤️❤️❤️ I think you’d really love “A House in Nebraska” by Ethel Cain, she’s very different to Aurora but her voice also has that powerful ethereal quality to it❤
Now I want to hug you ….❤️❤️ thank you so much these things mean a lot to me honestly, because you can’t be everybody’s cup of tea some people like what I am doing here others may not and being a creative isn’t easy cause I do all my work and I still try to stay me and as original as possible. So I am sending you virtual hugs because you honestly have pushed and encouraged me to keep going. And I promise my next video will definitely be your suggestion so please turn on post notifications 😘🥹
@@ellatalks Sending you virtual hugs right back❤️🥰 It makes me so happy to hear that my comment brought you some positivity, you should never let anyone tell you what to do, the best gift you can give to the world is to be yourself!❤️
HI. Just found your channel. Love your enthusiasm. I could be wrong, because I never actually saw the movie, but I believe it is "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" starring Johnny Depp. The Proclaimers are an Irish band, they are twins and this was their most popular song in the US because of the movie. However, they are much more popular in Ireland.
It is actually in the movie "Benny and Joon", starring Johnny Depp and Mary Stuart Masterson. The Proclaimers are a Scottish duo and not Irish. They intentionally sing with a Scottish accent.
Hey, so I like looking at reactions to learn stuff, but it's pretty empty here. I'm literally the first person to like the video. So. Guess I'm reading wikipedia and repeating the cool parts. So, The Proclaimers aren't a massively complicated band. They are twin brothers from Scotland. This was their biggest song. They had two other songs, one is about sending letters from America, and the other is about how beautiful their part of Scotland is. As for this genre, some call it acoustic pop, I'd just call it Folk music. Either way works. If you want a music recommendation from Scotland, or at least, from Scottish descendants (they're from Canada, I met them, you'd never know) go do yourself a favour, look up Mudmen - "5 o'clock" and enjoy. The two brothers from that band are on bagpipes, but they play them like guitars.
Well thank you for the insight mini Wikipedia and thank you for actually liking the video, but if you really watch my videos I kind of make it very very clear, I could easily have said everything you just said because every other reaction channel be going to Wikipedia reads stuff up and just spills it out and if that works for them fine , but what I do here is I give my viewers and subscribers the comment section to really say and express themselves what they know about the song the artist and what they like and don’t like, it doesn’t only make it fun but also interactive for us all and that has really worked for me and I think they enjoy it so far, so I am sorry if it’s empty here, I also hope you find what works for you too❤️

You’re so adorable! Glad you found this song, it’s such a bop
Awww thank you 😊😊…. Such an overly happy song 😂😂
They are twins are Craig and Charlie Reid. Born in Leith and grew up in Edinburgh.
You can never go to a Scottish wedding and not hear this song
On top of being a great song I like that they don’t try to Americanize their accent. They’re Scots and proud.
Wow you seem to be reacting to songs I grew up with ... sub'd for the memories.
Awww, Thank you and that means you had a pretty fun childhood cause these songs!!!!!!
Also remember to leave recommendations too
The movie is Benny and Joon.
