Timing advance on my 99 Miata

In this video I show how I go about adjusting the timing on my 1999 Mazda Miata. This model does not come with a way to do so from factory but with a fairly cheap adjustable part from Flying Miata, I'm able to advance or retard timing.

How did you like 12°? Have you tried 14 yet?

12 is ok, I had it at 14 previously but set it back to stock 10 for smog check. I was just thinking yesterday I want to go back to 14 😅

Yes, it’s not huge but there’s definitely a difference.
