You don't need to precook beans at all! Just put 1 Cup of clean beans in a quart jar. Add 1 teaspoon of salt. Fill to 1 inch from the top with water. Put on a lid and ring. Pressure at 10 lbs for 90 minutes. (you may need to use 15 lbs pressure according to your altitude.) Bring pressure in your canner down to "0." Boom! you're done. Let jars cool completely before storing. I have 3 pressure canners and run them all at the same time. This is how I do all my beans. Almost a year's supply at one time.

Pressure canning beans is so so easy, because you don’t need to cook them beforehand! This is what I do. Put a scant 3/4 cup of dry beans in a pint jar and fill with water, put on your lid and turn upside down overnight. ( this is so the beans do get stuck at the bottom as they expand. In the morning, or whenever you’re ready to can the next day, drain and rinse and add fresh water and 1/2 tsp salt if you like, and pressure can for 1 hour and 15 minutes, making sure to follow your canners instructions for how much water in the canner(generally a few inches) and venting the steam for 10 minutes before putting your pressure gage on.
When you open the cottage cheese reseal and turn it upside down lid firmly in place to store in fridge it seals the top and will last longer in the fridge put on a plate if concerned about leakage.
I soak mine overnight with baking soda to help get rid of gas then rise them really well. I don’t cook them at all. I put them in the jars add salt and cumin (also helps with gas). I add boiling water, de-bubble, wipe the rims with white vinegar then they go in the pressure canner 75 minutes for pints 90 minutes for quarts. 11pounds of pressure for my elevation. You can find what pressure for your elevation online. I’ve been canning all kinds of beans for years. Some I use to put on salads, make bean burgers and refried beans! Good luck!!
You can make a foolproof heavy cream substitute at home whenever you're in a pinch. Simply melt ¼ cup unsalted butter and slowly whisk in ¾ cup whole milk or half-and-half. This is the equivalent of 1 cup of heavy cream and can be used in place of heavy cream in most recipes
one of my favorite things my mom made when I was a kid, was hotdog casserole: hotdogs cut lengthwise in a casserole dish, mustard or ketchup on top, then mashed potatoes, then a little shredded cheese; in the oven til everything heated through and the cheese is melted. :)))))
If you can order fish straight from fishers then tilapia is healthy. It's the farmed fish practices that make the fish unhealthy. Also as someone who has been canning for over 2 decades, if you plan on canning the beans and eating them in the same month, look for reusable lids. The lid shortage is still going on.
Tilapia is native to Africa, and a freshwater fish. So unless you live there then "ordering from fisherman" is fairly impossible. Now 99% is farmed, mostly in packed, polluted tanks in Asian countries. There are some countries that are better than others but it's consistently ranked among the worst fish to eat.
