I honestly feel bad for Cole because it’s honestly clear that the writers have never put much effort into grow up coles character or to make him interesting. It’s sad that his mother passed away and that his dad instead of being there for him would be off with his singing group. Honestly Cole does have a good backstory but it’s obvious that Coles backstory was not written until later on

but tbf, nya is always 6th because this tv show is targetted at boys so it is no surprise that the male audience would vote for male characters as their favourite. she is probably either my second or third favourite though, not sure about her or kai, but jay is my favourite overall.
Can I be honest? All the ninja are awesome in their own ways. Cole has a great backstory. Zane is smart and likeable, Kai is a hothead but cares a lot and jay is just so funny! (In the four of them) great channel btw 😁

@@adxsoulja lloyd isn't my favorite but I don't think Kai's character has changed since the beginning. Overly confident, cocky with a 'I'm the best' attitude he hasn't changed much from day one but lloyd has the most character development out of all the ninja. From a little kid trying to be his father to defeating his father to a master in training of the ninja

Kai was always the most popular and Zane only gained popularity cuz of his “death” in s3, while I do agree that Kai is a very chill character, I prefer jay and Cole a bit more. I think we can all agree that Lloyd was annoying

As if it wasn't obvious enough, Kai is also my favourite ninja ever. He's a deep character that comes out very special and is one of Ninjago's strongest characters.

I feel like Nya deserves way more credit. She had to stay in Kai’s shadow up until she became samurai X. Then the whole plot of season 5 revolves around her and her character development, and without her the preheminent would have destroyed ninjago. Not to mention she had to find out that her parents were alive for all those years. Plus she basically had to drag Lloyd out of his depression in season nine. Like seriously the gal deserves more credit, cause she’s had it harder than all the other ninja, especially cause she’s a girl!

Why does her gender make any difference whatsoever? She has no personality, and maybe if she did, people would actually like her. It has nothing to do with her gender
I know I'm super late and I like Nya but she's not my favourite because she's a little anti feministic for me and some of her lines are a little weird. But I do think she should have been placed higher.
I don't really see how being a girl makes a difference. It's not like she's a super feminist. I kinda feel like Nya was just added because they wanted a character that girls could relate to.

I'm surprised Kai won, especially since everyone, in universe at least, constantly treat him like crap. I think the worst of it was season 4, where it seemed like they were going to have it be Kai's season (romantic interest, him feeling guilty for the loss of Zane, connections to Chen through Skylor, etc), and he even came up with the plan to save the elemental masters. When he freed his friends with this plan, not even a freaking thank you, even after all the teasing he received in previous seasons (which, to be fair, were at times warranted, like the green ninja thing in season 1). Also, that thing Lloyd said at the beginning of the season to Kai, when he was saying he should be dead instead of Zane, and Lloyd basically responded with, "stop being an attention sponge". Dude, he was saying Zane was a better man than him, and that he isn't worth his life, and he thinks his piers would be better off with Zane alive and him dead! If anything, I would try to raise his confidence. If this wasn't a kids show, Kai probably would have killed himself. I could make a whole video about all the times that Kai gets unfairly chastised by his piers. It frustrates the crap out of me, because a decent amount of the time, when Kai is right about what he says, no-one acknowledges it, even though they were quick to shame him when they were convinced he was wrong! Ugh.

@@frankietapez8916 he has more of an interesting personality than the other ninja well except zane. kai is an annoying airhead who pretty much does nothing, Jay had some element of funny, but in general is just weird, nya meh, Lloyd kind of annoying early on better in new seasons and Cole, huge backstory has an epic dedicated season (13)

I'm happy Kai is number 1, but I'm honestly suprised at the area Lloyd was ranked, and didn't expect Zane to be higher. Don't get me wrong, Zane is awesome, but I didn't expect him to beat Lloyd. Well I'm happy because the show just likes to give almost every thing to Lloyd and barely gives us anything about the other ninja exept about 5 voice lines an episode.
