Realistic lmao, the airjitzu and elemental dragons were taken out so the ninja won't be overpowered, they also heavily nerfed the ninja by barely making them use their elemental powers, pretty much every newer season they make a reason for the ninja not to use their powers, like vengestone and things like that
They are ninja with magic powers technically- who travel in a flying ship and fight talking snakes, ghosts, robots, or monsters. Ninjago has never been realistic.
The problem with Jay is that he has the strongest element, but because he is clumsy and not as professional as the other Ninja's, he lacks skill and tactics.
Actually, I remember Zane still only having half of his heart when he fought the Overlord. They never showed him getting the other half back from PIXAL. It's probably also the reason why she was captured and disassembled by Chen and his goons before season 4. But looking at it, it is highly likely that Zane defeating the Overlord was only HALF of his maximum power. Also remember that just half of his heart was said to have near unlimited or immeasurable power by Borg, being able to power Borg tower and Zane's half POWERING A SPACESHIP. Zane actually has an insane amount of strength and might be the most powerful of the ninja, but it's debatable.
The titanium Zane doesn't need the heart thing that the original Zane had, he has more advanced tech, as much as I like Zane, Lloyd is definitely stronger, by a bigger margin

I do wanna point out that Kai is most likely able to fly. He did this when the ninja first got their power in rebooted in the temple of light, and he does this similarly to Korra from the legend of korra where she uses fire as a thruster to push herself up.

He was literally a conductor in S6, and was hit by lightning multiple times in the storm, and also recharged the batteries in the Sea Bounty, WHILE BEING IN WATER WHICH WOULD KILL ABSOLUTELY ANYBODY ELSE. Nya did kill the Preeminent, but it was during the unlocking of her true potential. And she also has a lot of water around her, most of the time, so she doesn't have to create water by herself 90% of the time. I think he could be on the same level of power as Kai, he just needs his own power-up moment.

I see zane as extremely powerful. The showings of season 3 and season 11 and basically EVERY SEASON hes REALLY impressive. People are saying kai should be higher on the list but I highly disagree.
Honestly I think Zane is the strongest in physical strength Before I get into tiny detail I would like to mention this has nothing to do with the ‘Nindroid’ stuff- • He defeats the Overlord with half of his total power • He is one of the calmest ninja (unless a nightmare occurs) • His powers are least likely to go haywire • His powers can freeze ANYONE and ANYTHING for a long time (Vex as example)

I do agree with your ranking very much, though at times I wonder if Zane is more powerful than Lloyd, currently. I mean, hear me out, Zane defeated the Overlord fully whereas Lloyd didn't fully defeat him, in my opinion, because the Overlord came back digitally, and Zane also froze an entire realm. This is how I believe the ninja are when ranking them with skill and other features (don't think this is everything however) Someone in the comments tell me if you agree or not since this is just my opinion. In terms of physical strength - Cole - Lloyd - Kai - Jay - Zane - Nya In terms of stealth - Zane - Lloyd - Jay - Nya - Kai - Cole In terms of agility - Jay - Zane - Nya - Lloyd - Kai - Cole In terms of using elemental power the easiest - Kai - Lloyd - Cole/Zane (tied) - Jay - Nya
Personally I’d argue Zane is by far the strongest in terms of elemental power. When he defeated the overlord he only had half of his power source and his time with the scroll of forbidden spinjitzu likely gave him a massive power boost

Nya is definitely not the weakest, she's beaten Jay, Kai and Lloyd multiple times, a lot of people just claim her to be the weakest because she's a girl but she's for sure one of the more powerful ninjas, if you watched seabound you'd know she is EXTREMELY powerful and is on the powerful scale of the ninja
I was surprised to see Cole at the top I assumed that it would be Lloyd. But I understand that totally. Cole is my favorite ninja too. I loved his back story we got in season 13. I feel like cole is so underrated and that before season 13 he was really undeveloped. I am so glad that he finally got his time to shine. Who else loves Cole?
I personally think that Jay needs to be a lot higher on this list for quite a few reasons: First: He can literally make fire with his element already therefore declaring that he could be more powerful than Kai Second: His element is one of the most dangerous ones in the show and I think that he has a lot of potential and will hopefully one day tap into it Third: He's just my fav :P
I sort of get what your saying, it is true that lightning is super powerful, but we have never seen him use lightning as powerful as it is in nature, he is the only ninja that could withstand his own element, but he can also be clumsy, and incoordinated at times, which we have seen. So yeah I think he should be higher up on the elemental side of the list, but weaker in the physical section.
i really hope after this season we can see some new abilites. Literally the only character with different abilities besides their main element is Cole. he has earth, RX form, and spinjitsu burst now. He also has super strength and can Shatter the ground like we can see all the way back in season 1 intro. Everyone else just kinda has their element but thats it. Bring back Jay's wind please it could be a less powerful version of morros but please. And Kai, what ive always thought would be cool for kai is if he could have claws, like fire claws that he could grow like wolverine would be so sick!!! Also id like for him to have like something similar to a Sasuke Cursemark where in his case the black starts to cover his face but in kais case itll be red/ orange flames and his eyes will glow yellow. Would look so badass. Idk what they could do for zane maybe give him like forbidden ice or something i have no clue. Nya im not too sure either, Maybe she could be able to communicate with ocean critters or something? or maybe unleash Wojeera (idk how to spell that). Yeah, Lloyd definitely still is the strongest ninja(without Spinjitzu burst, true potentials, or other buffs). He essentially has the same power level normally as Spinjitzu burst Lilly as shown through his destruction of Grief-Bringer.
As much as I am a Jay fan, I will admit that he’s not the most physically strong ninja, his strengths mainly lies within his agility, speed, handiness and the adaptability of his elemental power, in addition to his ability to construct a plan when need be (I.e. Skybound) and being able to relate to and reason with certain villains (I.e.Unagami. -although he’s not the only ninja to be able to reason with a villain e.g Cole & Yang)
Strongest Lloyd: mainly because of his elemental power. Cole: controls the earth and loves cake. Zane: he’s made of metal, you don’t want to hit him. Nya: she controls water and a lot of it. Kai: just has fire and standard strength Jay: I love jay, he’s my favourite ninja but he’s not physically the strongest. Weakest.
I don't think he was really trying that much, Lloyd and Zane hold back their powers the most in the show (especially Lloyd), if Zane wanted to he could've ended Mr E right there
1: Lloyd; Most powerful ninja on the team and is very wise like Wu 2: Cole; But in terms of powers Cole is the 2nd strongest but I admit, Cole is physically the strongest ninja and emotionally. 3: Zane; He conquered the never realm at one point, he is very intelligent (Walking computer) His power to freeze is cool ;) 4: Jay; He's a very humorous character but his power is incredibly deadly in a way. More so than fire in my opinion. 5: Kai; He is a hothead, acts before thinking which makes him weak while in battle. But he is powerful in his own way. 6:Nya; Nya is not weak but her element of water kinda is but not in the s15 finale though. She is just like Zane, very intelligent and caring. But her weakness is what makes her stronger. But other than that her element is not as strong as the rest of the ninja. In my opinion.
It really depends on the conditions. If we’re talking about the ninja at their peak power levels, I’d probably rank it as this: Lloyd(for final battle) Cole(for Spinjitzu burst) Zane(for defeating Overlord) Nya(for defeating Preeminent) Kai(for true potential) Jay(for true potential) However, if the ninja are just fighting without any buffs: Lloyd(for defeating Grief-bringer, a feat that is probably around Lilly’s Spinjitzu burst power level) Cole(for RX powers, super strength) Zane(for being basically indestructible, but has less offensive power than Jay and Kai) Kai(seems stronger than Nya and Jay physically and fire seems like a more powerful element) Nya(knows technology, seems stronger than Jay as shown through Samurai X short) Jay(powerful, but just not on the level of the other ninja)
Kai when overpowering boreal > Kai's true potential. Remember Kai overpowered a forbidden spinjitzu ice dragon while in a place so cold that it was impossible to make fire. Kai's true potential can.... make shields?

I feel like Jay would be way up there. I mean it's lighting. Hes literally the only ninja that can survive his own element. (except Zane he's a nindroid) Jay literally gets struck by lightning multiple times and comes out perfectly fine.
Also if the writers did write powers right I bet he'd be hard to get your hands on him because if you touch him he can literally become a zap trap (although that part is just my idea)
You don't really see Kai surviving extreme heat or as far as we seen in season 15 nya is not completely surviving the ocean but that can change as more episodes come out. Zane is a nindroid of course he can survive extreme cold. (Edit: yeah Nya legit just took "become water" way to literal)
As in terms of physical strength yea I agree with your list. I don't see Jay as stronk boi. Although I do wish the writers would give each Ninja a (physical) ability. Maybe the others could have something else (and it doesn't have to be physical entirely)? For example we know Cole has super strength and Zane has the smarts, but maybe nya can have coordinating, Jay can have speed or agility, Lloyd could have balance or cleverness, and Kai endurance or stamina (we all know he's supposed to be the hot head but I feel like in recent Ninjago that was given to nya)

Before I get into tiny detail I would like to mention this has nothing to do with the ‘Nindroid’ stuff-
• He defeats the Overlord with half of his total power
• He is one of the calmest ninja (unless a nightmare occurs)
• His powers are least likely to go haywire
• His powers can freeze ANYONE and ANYTHING for a long time (Vex as example)

Personally I’d argue Zane is by far the strongest in terms of elemental power. When he defeated the overlord he only had half of his power source and his time with the scroll of forbidden spinjitzu likely gave him a massive power boost

I personally think that Jay needs to be a lot higher on this list for quite a few reasons:
First: He can literally make fire with his element already therefore declaring that he could be more powerful than Kai
Second: His element is one of the most dangerous ones in the show and I think that he has a lot of potential and will hopefully one day tap into it

I sort of get what your saying, it is true that lightning is super powerful, but we have never seen him use lightning as powerful as it is in nature, he is the only ninja that could withstand his own element, but he can also be clumsy, and incoordinated at times, which we have seen. So yeah I think he should be higher up on the elemental side of the list, but weaker in the physical section.

i really hope after this season we can see some new abilites. Literally the only character with different abilities besides their main element is Cole. he has earth, RX form, and spinjitsu burst now. He also has super strength and can Shatter the ground like we can see all the way back in season 1 intro. Everyone else just kinda has their element but thats it. Bring back Jay's wind please it could be a less powerful version of morros but please. And Kai, what ive always thought would be cool for kai is if he could have claws, like fire claws that he could grow like wolverine would be so sick!!! Also id like for him to have like something similar to a Sasuke Cursemark where in his case the black starts to cover his face but in kais case itll be red/ orange flames and his eyes will glow yellow. Would look so badass. Idk what they could do for zane maybe give him like forbidden ice or something i have no clue. Nya im not too sure either, Maybe she could be able to communicate with ocean critters or something? or maybe unleash Wojeera (idk how to spell that). Lloyd could maybe have tiny bits of gold, obv not as powerful as the golden ninja but maybe he could use a little golden power it just takes a lot out of him. As much as I am a Jay fan, I will admit that he’s not the most physically strong ninja, his strengths mainly lies within his agility, speed, handiness and the adaptability of his elemental power, in addition to his ability to construct a plan when need be (I.e. Skybound) and being able to relate to and reason with certain villains (I.e.Unagami. -although he’s not the only ninja to be able to reason with a villain e.g Cole & Yang)

2: Cole; But in terms of powers Cole is the 2nd strongest but I admit, Cole is physically the strongest ninja and emotionally.

4: Jay; He's a very humorous character but his power is incredibly deadly in a way. More so than fire in my opinion.
