Impt. Notice: we've measured it at 46.7mm diameter, and I have been corrected that it is 45mm.I'll check it again (to be sure) since even websites say that it's 45mm. but, if you really want to decide weather it will fit your wrist or not, it's best to check it personally. :)

Liking or not liking this or any watch is your personal preference, but please take care to share accurate information. The lug-to-lug on this watch is not 47mm. Actual correct measurement is a shade under 45mm.
Hmm, interesting. ‘Cause we measured it at 46.7 @.@ now, we could’ve measured it on an different angle. However, i did, check on different sites and all of it says 45. You’re the 2nd one noticing it. So, thanks for the info! :)

As far as I know on the 37mm spirit the lug to lug is 45mm. On my 6.5 inch it sits perfectly and I really like the profile. I do not have any complaints on this 37mm model, really.

Lug to lug is 45mm on the 37mm Spirit. End link to end link is something like 49mm.
Funny enough, We actually measured it in the boutique 😅 it was 46.7
beautiful watch, luxury and quality brand, this 37 will be a best buy
I would say it’s a combination of the relatively large dial to thin bezel plus the lack of curvature to the long ish lugs that causes the issue. I have noticed this with me also even at 6.75 and 55mm across.
That’s a lot💆♂️ even you, with a bigger wrist has the same sentiment. So, i’m not alone then.
I own the same Citizen NB1050 and agree on the lugs. Slight shorter lugs would have been so much better. I was contemplating selling it, but it’s beautiful and a really good value so likely will hang onto it….for now. The Longines Spirit in 37mm looks awesome (blue or black), but the case does look flat and they seem to like the long lugs like their sister brand, Hamilton watches. Sucks having a 6.5” wrist some days… I could wear so much more if I had a 7” or larger wrist. Maybe it’s a good thing limiting what you can buy with a smaller wrist…lol?
@@dustinr16 tha’s a good enough reason to not spend all these dollars, when we only need 1 watch 😂 and we’ve concluded that it’s not our puny wrists that has the problem, it’s the design of the watch. So, don’t fret. We’re good 😂 and i agree with the citizen, it’s too good to not have just ‘cause of the lugs. I think it looks better that the longines since it has a bigger(at 38mm) case. So it’s more proportion at least.

Recently considering it actually, after nomos released their 38mm watch. I thinks this is much more money worthy. :)

I think lug design, and everything else about this watch (except unnecessary stars) is perfect if it suits your style.
Yes the 47 lug to lug with the male endlinks. Really disapointing. Such a great watch. Should have shortened that lug to lug and gone with a 20mm lug with. Also a butterfly clasp would look great on that watch. What a shame.
It is just desing. Just pick a size smaller. This bracelet wraps around the wrist and shows more in front. Not like others where the lugs are as wide as the wrist (almost) and the bracelet just slopes off.
Its only a recent thing that watches became so big.
Recently considering this actually, after Nomos released their 38mm watch.
U should try moving a couple links from the 6 o clock position to the 12 o clock position on your Citizen. The clasp was way off center on the underside of your wrist. The adjustment should provide for a better wearing experience.
I know.:) i’m fine with it:) too lazy to adjust😂doesn’t really bother me.
I just found out that those chronographs are the Longines Record Heritage Chronograph!

Longines Lug design especially for the 40mm and 42mm Spirits is just plain stupid - Period !

Longines and the lug to lug problem is not a new one. The Hydroconquest face the same problem. Lug to lug is just too much. Unfortunately. Great watch but I will stay with my Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic.
