How come the Sgt Maj appears to be wearing Army jump wings? I'm a (former) Royal Marines Commando and when I did a jump with the USMC I was presented with a different shaped set of wings from when I'd jumped with US Airborne?
The Army's Parachutist Badge (the one worn by the Sgt Maj.) is awarded to all military personnel of any service (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines) who have completed the "US Army Basic Airborne Course".

I don't mind the Corps getting new technology, but the idea is to add to your toolbox, not get rid of tools you know works and have worked well for decades.
