In 1834 (the year the house was built), slavery came to an end in all British territories. Not sure but perhaps stones done by Scottish stone masons?? Nice to know it will be saved. 👍
Sadly Heritage status doesn't seem to mean much anymore. It can have the status but the developer/owner let's it sit to rot and then has the status removed because now it's "too far gone". Then it's torn down. Very sad. Pretty place.

Oh crap I missed your premiere. I was pass this during the summer its definitely got protection. I was always curious about this one.

There is a hole in the fence and the back window was wide open. Not breaking in, just trespassing.
