    Thanks for the video. Another beauty! Just think that house was there before Canada became Canada ... 33 years before Confederation. .. 19 years after the end of the War of 1812-1815. In 1834 (the year the house was built), slavery came to an end in all British territories. Not sure but perhaps stones done by Scottish stone masons?? Nice to know it will be saved. 👍

    Love all the wallpapers. I imagine that the pipe running up through the rooms from the wood stove would help to heat the rooms.

    Sadly Heritage status doesn't seem to mean much anymore. It can have the status but the developer/owner let's it sit to rot and then has the status removed because now it's "too far gone". Then it's torn down. Very sad. Pretty place.

    So glad this very original one is to be saved, I hope they don't let it go to decay. Great that it has a security fence around it. I'm a little dissapointed you didn't tour the outhouse for us.
    🤪
    Stayin tuned! 👍🤠 🇺🇸

    The basement area looks more like it could have been the 1st floor of the house.

    There's a reason there is a fence, breaking in is not cool 🤔

    • @urbexontario73
      @urbexontario73  6 месяцев назад

      There is a hole in the fence and the back window was wide open. Not breaking in, just trespassing.
