Why did people leave there homes, now there building new one, I though people had to leave because of sink holes

One reason lights were left on is to keep tresspassers out !...Did you have permission to "explore" ? There's obviously some refurbishing going on there.That pile was dry wall taken out to be replaced as well as boards, there as well. I believe I'd be more careful "exploying" if I were you.😮. People are becoming more and more protective of their properties to protect them from squatters, vandals and "explorers"...🤷

All paint can bubble. It's pealing because it has been sitting with no heat and cold air during the season changing. But anyway I love the house. Thank you for sharing this experience.

People can't buy these mansion. Most people can't afford mayintenance & property upkeep & taxes. That is why if I hit a lottery, I will remodel my basement. I would hire people to do minor damaged woodwork, paint inside too. It is 945 sq. Feet living space.

That’s not decay, that’s just layers and layers of cheap latex paint. That house is in very good condition if you just take out the poorly constructed walls and bring it back to a single family home.

My thinking is, that the people tha who were living here were forced to leave. You do not just walk out and leave things like this.

Why dont the buyers/developers have dome sort of lottery for left behind furniture, etc? Each person gets say, an hour to get what they want/need. Only 1 person inside ar a time, keep it controlled somewhat. Stuff wont go to landfill or burned. House gets a cleanout.

Quite frankly, if I were homeless and I came across an empty old "abandoned house, I would discreetly live there..I mean, I didn't see any no trespassing signs..did u ???..I have to say though, with the 2 meters as well as remodeling,, it hasn't been empty that long...

Someone's paying electricity bill otherwise power company would turn off the power.
