    Did you coat the illustration board with wax before adding the alcohol inks? These are beautiful!

    You sealed the bottles but left the bowl of alcohol next to your torch lol

    Are the inks lightfast

      The only alcohol inks that are more lightfast than the others are Piñata inks and Copic refills. Once I seal all the inks in wax, I do find that there is less color that looses any brightness in all the inks. I do seal my pieces with a UV protective spray if I use any alcohol inks. Hope that helps!

      derick elsner I use Krylon UV-Resistant Clear spray. I put on 3 light coats. It does change the texture of the wax, but it doesn’t bother me at all. Make sure you spray outside! Safety first!
