Reading your comment, I just realized you said milk frother. And only because I just bought one. I had no idea what they were before that. Probably because I don't drink coffee, lol. Sorry! And thank you so much, that is a great idea!! Gotta go put another milk frother in my amazon cart...
@@thefarpavilion Yes, frother. I just realized that it printed "Frost her", lol. Sorry. Yeah I find they work great to mix paints before use, you know? Like when the pigment settles in the bottom, or to mix paints. I use 2. One with older batteries and one with fresh ones. Glad you liked it!
Accretion is an encaustic technique where you dip your brush in the wax, let it cool for 30 seconds or so, then brush back and forth on the surface to get a build up of texture. It's a really cool effect! Of course, you still need to fuse!

I loved watching the build up and your intuitiveness to be successful!
Thank you!!! 🥰
Love the texture in the piece!! So much fun watching you, inspires me to play! Thank you
Fantastic results ! Thank you - loving your demos !!! Kind regards - Judi - Australia
I usually do cool accretion with a chip brush & don't scrape back and I get a really good build up.
I use a milk frost her to mix my colours. Use older batteries so you can control the mixing speed. Also it should boil to mix well, I hear

Where did the small brush come from?
The ink brush? It's just a basic ink brush from Michael's, I think... super cheap.
Can you spell the good brush you are speaking of? Thank you for sharing your process 🙏

Hmmm... I can't say exactly, it's just a larger clay scraper.
