We need 'Just be a Buster!' T-shirts!😂 Totally agree. Age is what you make it. I also know how you feel about your pup aging. I want my huge boy to live FOREVER! He's 10. A gigantic teddy bear that never, ever leaves my side.❤
Buster is so cute! My dog Herriott looks like him only she is all black. She will be 18 in December. She can't see or hear very well anymore but she can race around for short bursts. She still has lots of joy in car rides, cuddles, treats, toys...Wishing you and Buster the best!
Hey Stephanie. I’m fairly new to your channel and must say it’s my favorite channel for Friday Sews. I’m more like Buster as I don’t feel my age (81) at all. I work 2-3 days a week, live by myself and sew and machine embroider. I’ve always taken care of myself and keep my carb intake very low. But, honestly, I think my gene pool is what it’s all about more than anything. You look great and I like your energy. Keep dong what you’re doing. 🥰
I just love those pants. A top made out of the same fabric would make a great looking outfit and then you could switch the top for a black one and when you wear the print top you could also wear it with black pants. I think it would be stunning. Also love the top you made from a dress! So enjoy your channel!!
That's perfect! My dog is around 12 or 13, she was a rescue from a bad situation and we adopted her and the vet put her between 5 and 6 at the time and we've had her almost 8 years. She is living her best life and doesn't really know she's old. She has lingering health issues but she just ignores them and loves life, treats and naps.
Hi from Uk. You taught me how to do the yoga band. 👍 thank you. I agree, we need to not talk old. You’re always so happy and cheerful too. Take care. ❤
Buster's such a sweet puppy. He's right, he's still a puppy. I love those pants, and I still need to add yoga pant tops to my pants. And I really love the print on that top. Happy Anniversary!
Aren’t dogs just the best? 💕 My lovely hound, Billy, is 15 and still expects his walk, chases squirrels, barks at the postman (who he has met a million times and loves! 🤣) and heads into the sea whenever he can. Yes, he sleeps more but he’s still loving life. Dogs have got the right approach. I’m still looking for the right autumn/winter dress pattern and I’ve just finished another Adrienne blouse in beautiful autumn leaves viscose jersey. See you again soon Stephanie. 🤗
I totally understood your “old” message and having a dog shadow. I have a golden that follows me everywhere, even the bathroom. Enjoy your videos so much!
Hi Stephanie! I have rewatched your yoga waistband video again and want to re-do some of my pants. In fact, I’m ready to revamp my entire wardrobe but it’s overwhelming and I don’t have much time to sew so then I get frustrated. I’m really struggling to get pants to fit and then I’m dealing with an aging body that adds another dimension. 👵🏻😂 I have bought ponte pants from Quince and the fabric is lovely. The mediums are too tight (for a 65 year old) and the large is too big. But I figured I cannot buy the ponte fabric for less than the pants cost so I’m going to make them fit. I don’t know why I think I shouldn’t take apart new clothing to make them fit better. I absolutely love your content and look forward to each video you put out. Hope we can get together someday. My next visit to see my dad, I will plan for an extra day so maybe we can meet them. He gets very demanding of my time when I visit…I’m not complaining, I love to see him and appreciate that he wants to monopolize my time. 😀
@@sibyllolson3237 Yes Sibyll, you are singing my tune. Why not fix those pants? You’ll wear them so much more often. And yes! Let me know when you are up and we can meet at the pickled porch! Have you been there? Hugs 🩵🩵🩵
Have you seen the Once Upon a Pattern pattern by Sew a Little Seam? You might be able to create the Rapunzel dress from that because it has many components. It’s an Indie pattern that you should be able to find online.
I also need to stop saying I am old. I have just turned 66 and my daughter (who is 26) wrote in my card that I am very old now and then listed the things that I have done this year, that she is proud of me because I achieved them. The 'very old' comment wiped out the rest in my head. Not helped by the fact that I fell down the stairs 3 weeks ago and broke a few ribs - she put that down to my age too. I haven't been doing any sewing because I cannot sit at my machine, but I have bought 4 fabrics, 2 patterns and gradually been sticking a pdf together, a couple of pages at a time. I have also taken the waist band off some trousers because it was too big. I ha e though planned a lot of garments in my head.
I need to make a costume, too. My not yet 3 year old great granddaughter wats to be a bat. Not a vampire because they are too scary. She wants to be a fruit bat. However, the other day she changed her mind. Now she wants to be a belly button. No idea how to make one of those.
@@erikacook939 Hi Erika, I do have some sew alongs, and I want to do more. It’s a little beyond my tech knowledge, so I struggle with them, but I’m working on that. Hopefully I will get in to a rhythm soon!! Wish me luck! lol. Hugs 🩵🩵🩵
@@erikacook939 I get it. I think that all of us have that same struggle. Hi Cindy, well, that makes sense! Thanks!

Kayaking at 65?! She doesn’t even know she’s old 🎉 😂 Enjoy your anniversary, and I love your new attitude, I am going to try be more Buster myself ❤

Love our sweet dog buddies. ❤❤❤
I want your pants and the whole outfit. That looks so comfy but so “put together” - I need more of that in my life.
Me too!! Wouldn’t it be great if all my choices in the closet were just that?
